Yes, but that's less your fault and more the fault of Nintendo fans in general being very closed-off from the world.
And besides - you wouldn't be if it was MY forum!! (although we'd probably call it "Non-Capcom Review" rather than 3PS.

So, going back to the Capcom example, 1st party would be a game developed and published by Capcom; 2nd party would be a game developed by an external company, but still published by, Capcom; and 3rd party would be... any game that has nothing to do with Capcom? Thats how I've always seen it. It may be harder since we look at it from Nintendo's prespective. Since they do both hard ware and soft ware, it's pretty much Nintendo developing a game for a Nintendo system. Most third party games are seen as a game made for a system by an outdie source. Example: Capcom making a PS2 game, with Sony not involved
