Sorry all, I had a massive (and potentially expensive) computer crash on Saturday that has limited my ability to do anything. I'd done Nintober entries up until this Wednesday, and then after that... I have no workstation. So look forward to Nintober Unplugged starting Thursday. Anyway, I appear to have missed a few posts here! 080. Devil081. Spiritomb082. CortezAnd as always, you can donate to the MS Society on behalf of Nintober right here!

Bongo Bongo is kinda silly and scary at the same time. That sums up Zelda in general, I think. A lot of those games have parts that are very eerie and twisted, but also whimsical.
Even Redeads can get down.

I love those dancing ReDeads. I believe I made reference to that in the ReDead entry a couple years ago. 084. VorashFor those who don’t know, my Mac died a death on Saturday. To keep Nintober going, I’ve had to resort to primitive methods of artwork: paper and ink! Welcome to Nintober Unplugged, which will be going for as long as I don’t have a workstation.

I kinda like the way it looks, actually. I do prefer color, but the monochrome black and white looks kinda eerie. I like the new font, too.
And I'm glad to see Other M get some love. It had some great boss fights.

I like the Unplugged look, it looks more like a graphic novel, and very appropriate for Halloween.

087. Chaos ChimeraFrom Golden Sun: Dark Dawn... A game I have owned for about 3 years but never played (to be fair, I didn't get very far in the GBA games either, and I've owned them for over a decade!) I was quite chuffed with the inking on this one.

Ah, Golden Sun 3. That game's easy. Just make level 65 Sveta punch it in the face. This works for even freakin' Dullahan.
It's too creepy to my taste, though. It's like Mario 64: it looks innocent on the surface, but once you get to certain parts, it scares you off because you don't expect the gae to make you feel uneasy. If Nintober isn't limited to characters, I'd ask for the Grave Eclipse event itself.

That Thunderbird is a great take on a really vaguely designed enemy. Nice work!
