Hello everyone. I come back for a quick question. Who owns the rights to Professor Layton? Is it Level 5 or Nintendo. Most sources seem to credit both.
Anyway, seems like some interesting stuff is going on. Site looks good. And Happy Birthday Flip.

I'm just stopping by real quick like, but I'm going to suggest Karate Joe from the Rhythm Heaven games.
I would assume a lot of Nintendo dorks would be talking about this game, but alas.
........and with that, I'm off.

(Wow, so shiny and new).
Hello guys. I was hoping someone could help me. You see, there was a file posted (by YL I believe) that would allow you to name all the Brawl OST files when added to a directory. I've looked here on the boards, but I can't find it. Does anyone know where I can find it (or the thread it was in).
Thanks.

I don't normally come around here, but I'll give my two cents.
Have you played MvC? Then you've pretty much got an idea of how this game works. Just switch Marvel for Tatsunoko and add more features.
The game plays more like a competitive fighting game then the gimmicky fun of MvC (though it was still a fighting game). It has a more refined gameplay, and many of the new features are for those who are serious rather then ready to have a good time (usually being complicated). Of course, it doesn't drain away the fun.
The game has 22 different characters (11 from each side and both having one big character). For the most part, they are all fairly balanced (although Gold Lightan seems overpowered). Even Roll is a pretty good fighter. The is a pretty interesting balance of characters although there is a sever lack of Resident Evil characters (well, there is Joe). The Tatsunoko guys seem to similar though. The Doronjo gangs also tends to hog the spotlight. They are the guides in the menus and are even present during the credits.
The final boss is actually Yuri from Okami and comes equiped with 4 different forms and cel-shaded effects. However, it's a pain in the ass. It's extremely powerful and does specials when ever it wants. Too much
The menus can be a pain simply because there is a lot of them. There seems to be an option for everything. Thankfully, the characters say "Arcade" and "Minigame" which helps. The pause menu is all in English so you can figure out what you are doing in game.
The Minigame are pretty fun if not a bit short. Thankfully, they are entertaining enough. Not amazing, but a nice distraction. Plus they give you points.
I think I covered everything. And with that, I'm off.

I think nobody posted an FC because nobody got the game. [/pointless post] Just found it odd that no one has talked about this game much. I guessed maybe there are other people (who ever they are) playing this game, but didn't post their friendcode.

It's odd that no one has posted a FC, so I thought I'd make a seperate thread if no one minds.

An opinion is an opinion. For far too long have we tried to scorn those who dislike DKJB. They don't like it just as much as anyone else likes or hates a game.

So until then, less argueing, more fun speculatin' Here's a little nugget of truth I've learned from SSB discussions. Super Smash Brothers (especially when talking about a next installment) is a hot topic. Like I mentioned before, everyone has their own idea of what the roster should be. So, when we say that X is getting in or that Y is not, we may infringe on other people's feelings. We argue not becuase we are crazy, but becuase we all have our own ideas on what the game should be like. With this in mind, arguments can spur up quickly, and they do.

On edit: I know if I just left it, it would have just caused rage. I can try to make it as natural as possible, but it will never work. It is probably my folly to beleive I can be both nice and "critical" (for a lack of better word) at the same time. The same could be said for Lucas, Ike and Ness. Remember, it's popularity that drives the roster. I hope that was a joke. Because you did not just compare three stars of popular series (in Japan at least) to a supporting character in a single spin-off title. This thing could not have happened. The games were never that popular, but have a vocal fanbase. In fact, FE9 (Ike's game) sold pretty poorly. Mother 3, especially, only made 300k. This is all compaired to SMRPG's 1.5million of course.

That's not a very long post though. He just quotes much. I think Boo Destroyer may be mentioning something else, but I'm not sure.

Which is why I think Geno is more suited for an AT spot then a character slot. In fact, if Square actually joins up and throws in a character of their own I see no reason NOT to have Geno make an appearance as an AT. If Square doesn't then I doubt Nintendo will go through the trouble to get him, but hey who knows. The same could be said for Lucas, Ike and Ness. Remember, it's popularity that drives the roster.

This happened to me in the Sakurai on SSB thread. Why was I suddenly under attack from two members for stating my opinions on Krystal and why certain characters were selected? My opinions on certain games were also set upon. Now I fear that if I don't start every post with a disclaimer saying "This is only my opinion, and may contain educated guesses..." then I'll be attacked. But let's face it... Super Paper Mario IS unarguably doghobo. BAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW It's an old topic, but the reason was how you did it. You didn't give much support to begin with, and you'd say the character sucks at irrelevant intervals. You didn't actually give the support until people challenged you, then insulted them. Not to mention there was a great deal of miscommunication. You weren't attacked by any definition of the word. Truthfully, I would say the topic is important, but not nice. Bringing this up with either Fry or the individuals. This is kind of embarrassing to them. Being an asshole becuase "someone is being retarded" is still being an asshole. There is no difference. The action is still the same. Reinforcing this behavior is unacceptable and can contribute to everyone being an asshole to each other. All you are doing is adding justifications to a behavior that should be frowned upon. In BD defence, his comments towards DiU made perfect sence. DiU wouldn't make an entire post complaining about Boo Destroyer making a post all about complaining. It seems only I got the references. And what the hey were you thinking, Sqrt? Oh wait. You're referring to the whole Snake thing, correct? Just because you don't agree with my opinion doesn't mean you (or anyone else) has to comment on it. If you don't like it, just ignore what I'm saying and move on. I see what you mean. You feel your opinions are being attacked. But, you must remember that this is an open forum, and as long as what is being said is within the rules then it can be said. I would say to make sure to try to at least give a reason for your opinion. One truth (and this is why the Smash thread goes haywire every so often) is that it's hard to stay neutral when emotions are invested in something, so even when someone tries to defy your opinion. It happens. I know I have no hard feelings for anyone despite I have clashed with almost everyone. Maybe I have a weird philosophy on it.
