...the little Spriteling guy... For the sake of completeness: he's just called "Melfull" according to the Japanese site. By the way, the way how Wario "speaks" in the prologue reminds me a little bit of Mr. Bean... Oh, Melfull is the name of the little guy?, i always thought it was the princess' name

Not even Sony Source: www.sophos.com/pressoffice/news/a...ation.html Quote: Visitors to Sony PlayStation website at risk of malware infection Hackers use SQL injection and scare tactics to grab consumers' credit card details Researchers at IT security firm Sophos have warned lovers of video games that pages on the US-based Sony PlayStation website have been compromised by hackers. Experts at SophosLabs™ have discovered that cybercriminals have successfully used an SQL injection attack to plant unauthorized code on pages promoting the PlayStation games "SingStar Pop" and "God of War". At the time of writing the hacker's code attempts to dupe web surfers by running a fake anti-virus scan and displaying a bogus message that their computer is infected with a variety of different viruses and Trojan horses. The hackers' aim is to scare unsuspecting computer users into purchasing a bogus security product. Sophos warns, however, that it would be trivial for the hackers who have compromised the webpages to alter the payload so that it became more malicious, and installed code designed to turn Windows PCs into a botnet or to harvest confidential information from users. "There are millions of video game lovers around the world, many of whom will visit Sony's PlayStation website regularly to find out more about the latest console games. Most would never expect that surfing to a website like this could potentially infect them with malware. If users do not have sufficient protection in place then they might find that before they know it they have been scared into handing their credit card details over to a bunch of cybercriminals," said Graham Cluley, senior technology consultant for Sophos. "It is essential that all websites, especially when they are high profile like this or receiving a large level of traffic, have been properly hardened to prevent hackers from injecting malicious code on to what should be legitimate webpages." Sophos customers are automatically protected against the threats (which Sophos identities as Troj/Iframe-AG and Mal/Badsrc), and users of other vendors' products are advised to update their software.

Well, the problem with the Star Child and Wario topics is that you were lookin' for something that wasn't there. Some things you just gotta accept the way they are. For all my random babble of Mario Universal continuum, after clearing my mind and reading that piece of advice, the senseless video game series actually started to make sense, very weird. Plus simple stuff like this: (If a exists with b, and b exists in c, then obviously a exists with c) could be used to solve the Wario mario universe connection, that makes me regret that I even wasted my time making that long post, if simple math can solve it!

Firstly, Captain Syrup looks BADASS TO THE NTH DEGREE! That is so awesome! Oh, thank you Jesus and Buddha and little Krishna too... Thank you all *crying* Now, back to seriousness: we will never see Syrup in another game. I just still don't see them admitting the Wario series is the same as the Mario series. Never have before, never will now. Maybe It had to do with R&D1, rivalry with EAD in the past.... hmmm, and yeah Syrup does look awesome in this game! ;D, so happy she's back!

Well dropping the cartridge does reduce battery life, plus exposure to extreme heat or cold.
I always keep my cartridges in air tight containers for prolonged battery life

Well okaaaaay superstar, i got the point, no need to be a fry clone And as I said to Fry I will say to you as well, tnx for answering the poll ;D Edit: sorry bout the earlier comment, I was in a bad mood and didn't think properly, plus i didn't even eat lunch and breakfast ( i get cranky when I don't eat), I was pissed there i admit because of the constant bashes to my posts. And yet you were even kind enough to give significant output....., yeah I'll take your advice Alright, Sasha Sunshine, I'll tell you how things work around here since you seem pretty new. We at NinDB are pretty lenient, and any negative attraction you've gotten to your posts is explicitly because you've violated some kind of board rules multiple times over. We're willing to let you off if you learn to stop what you're doing, and you show promise, which is why you haven't gotten anything more than a verbal warning for all these obnoxious polls.
Second, we're not like any other forum you've ever been too. We talk, we discuss, we debate, we try to keep things intelligent and researched. I recommended a ton of other forums before if you want one-liner answers that lack thought, but who likes reading lists of opinions without explination? (Lists, by the way, are also one of the forum no-no's under most exceptions.)
And lastly, Newbie, keep your offline stuff offline, regardless of how trifling it is. Hunger is a feeble excuse for acting like you have clout on a forum you've only been on for less than a month. Hmmm, okay I shall follow your standards and procedures willingly: but before I can go on,was the topic of the star children really that bad?(I always thought discussing about the origin's and explanation of one's abilities seem "intellectual to me) plus debating on the topic also seems logical despite the characters being potrayed as "simple". As for the other posts what about the Warioware and Mario in the same universe, bad as well? The working for the nintendo bit, is how Fry would put it.. boring!, that I understand. Well the point is, I am not saying that those topics I created weren't bad, I just wanna know WHY they ARE bad, so I could reform and post better stuff in the future.

The reason why I make polls, is not for longevity of the discussion, its just for the straight out answer I get from then Then you're on the wrong forum, man! This is a place where long discussion is standard trade. If you want quick answers with little to no reasoning or intelligent thought put into them, I recommend places like Smashboards or GameFAQs. Heck, DKVine is great for that sort of thing too, 'cause they're all so blind to everything that falls beyond their already-established preconceptions.
But to answer the question in, er, question, I agree with WanderingShadow. So long as the art style fits the game, that's alI really require of a game. The untextured models used for official art in contemporary Mario gamesbore the hell out of me, though, and plain styles like Phoenix Wright or GTA4 - while not unpleasant to look at - don't catch my eye. It's when something is really different - Okami, Megaman Zero, The World Ends with You, Jet Grind Radio - that I find myself really digging it. They break traditions, they're stylized, and they're fresh - they look like something you've never seen before, ever. That's my favorite art style. WHY are you making so many new topics and polls?! I've expressed my distaste for poll before (and I believe I mention it in the forum rules). Open discussion is ALWAYS preferred to polls. If you think making it a poll will keep the topic alive for longer, you're wrong. Fine Fine, I'll stop. The reason why I make polls, is not for longevity of the discussion, its just for the straight out answer I get from then, but since you dislike em, i'l stop simple as that. I'm happy that you answered this poll though ;D

Another poll, although this time I just wanted to create a poll that didn't require much thought compared to the last 2 ones I made:
Since some of you peeps have accounts in deviant art, I just wanted to know the majority of your taste here in this community!!
Do you guys prefer the:
Anime style: Phoenix write, Castlevania PoR, DoS characters, Pokemon trainers , Pit's new look, more
Semi anime style: Advanced Wars characters, Zelda and Link( I'm not sure where to classify this one)
The hammer physics cartoon style: Mario, Warioware, Warioland, Toonlink, Pikmin, The old Pit's design
Uber cute style: Kirby, Stafy, Pokemon
Kick ass animal style: Starfox series, Animal Crossing
The serious look: Like some of Link's newer games, Metroid
Comic book style: Viewtifll Joe( forgot the spelling)
The other styles not listed here: care to add?
Well, i'll only list these to keep it simple.
And just saying as for my preference I like the cartoony style of the characters from the Marioverse, their basic design is easy to process, but I also like the comic book style too.

Uhhh.... Touched is the worst of the WarioWares (well, I haven't played Smooth Moves). Twisted is great. Very great. Awesomesauce, in fact. I still wanna play Tingly Wingly's Homosexual Wonder World though. This is EXACTLY what I was just about to post Twisted is awesome, Megamicrogames was radical, and touched was just a game to play when your'e board, and a game to move the basic plotline of Wario's videogame making life along.

We all know Nintendo and Sega have Mario and Sonic respectivly, but what about Atari, Konami, Microsoft...? Who represents them? Show you thoughts, but remember to state the reason why!!!Microsoft: Possibly Master Cheif, even though they don't have complete control over it. He seems to be their most popular representative. Activision: Not completely sure on this one. They don't really have any popular and prominent characters. Capcom: Mega Man. Who else? He's widely popular and well-known, and I could name a couple of people who have broader knowledge on him *cough*Tei*cough* Electronic Arts: Hmm, kinda the same situation as Activision here, but finding out who would be a fun debate. We've got quite a few to choose from. Konami: Now, I don't have much knowledge on Konami other than the fact that they hold the rights to Solid Snake, who does seem quite likely. Sony Entertainment: Spike from Ape Escape seems like a good choice. Any others you could think of? Well, that's pretty much it. Thoughts? You forgot Parappa the Rapist Rapper in that list for sony
