I must say a Music Channel isn't that bad of an idea. Nay, it's a great idea. With the SD memory card you can have some musuic you get from your computer. It would be nicve, expecially if you have better speakers on your TV or something. And then you could remix it with crazy sounds (hinting at Mario Paint) and share it with your friends! Brilliant! Didn't think about that. That would be nifty.

Well, how about Mario Artist-like stuff? Would it be to heavy?

You have to remember that Mario Artist let you sculpt simple 3D models (or Polygon Maker did anyway), and in order for that to be vaguely impressive today they would have to bump up the polygon number and throw in some special Wii remote "moulding" functions.
And that probably would be a full package in itself! Especially when combined with movie maker functions, etc.

Well, I like fry's outsidegame reward for beating the game. How about launching a campaign to gain Wii points through online gaming competition?
For Mario Artist thing, I like the idea, since the controller is now a full fledged 3D one! But it seems a better game idea than a channel.
Juat a small thing to ask... can I skip the channel thing and go to the game directly, like the DS auto mode and the GC not-pressing-A-and-with-a-game-in moe?

A DVD movie channel.
I mean, Nintendo is definately pushing the Wii as a family system, why not go the extra mile?

Wouldn't that require some new hardware? I mean... I'm pretty sure you'd have to send your Wii back to them for them to be able to add it.

I'll have to go with Kirbychu. How will the Wii be able to tell that its a DVD, and be able to run it, with only updateed software.

I don't see why new hardware would be required for the Wii to be able to play movie DVDs. Aren't normal Wii games also just stored on DVDs?

Aren't normal Wii games also just stored on DVDs? Well, they are DVD size, but isn't the format different.

Yes, the format is different. Nintendo has already announced that a hardware update will be required in order to make DVD playback possible. They have also said they are working on a DVD-enabled Wii for release possibly late this year.

I'd like an "Announcements Channel" for stuff like release dates, game developement progress (with progress bars: "character modelling = 92% complete!"), new game announcements, some rather hard puzzle solving for access to secret stuff.....uh....which wouldn't stay secret very long, so that bit should just be screenshots or videos come to think of it.
Also, a "Reviews Channel" for sending in and viewing reviews of games. By the fans, for the fans.

Your channel with the help of a Nintendo person is useless, theres no mic in the wiimote! (I know, I have one -.- ) Its a speaker. And my suggestion of a channel would be... your idea of the thingy with progress bar PS: My first post

Media Channel: A channel for playing music or video's from a CD, SD-card or USB-device Demo Channel: The place where you can play demo's of games you downloaded in the shopping channel. And if you have brought the game you've got the demo of you can get back your Wii points. Google Earth Channel: Google Earth on Wii! DS Download channel: Send your virtual console games to your DS. Wii chat: Chat with your friends using a XBox 360-like headset.

A music channel would make sense, because I'm pretty sure you can put in custom soundtracks in Excite Truck, so why not.
OK, then maybe a DVD movie attachment?
