www.gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/DBDBAA74-D8AD-4175-8286-3E54EB0494F1.htmThis probably doesn't mean much to most of this board, being mostly European, but Nintendo apparently Nintendo is going to have two American headquarters: one in New York and one in San Francisco. Apparently, the moving is costing Nintendo three major executives. Beth Llewelyn (Senior Director of PR), Perrin Kaplan (Vice President of Corporate Affairs), and George Harrison (VP of Marketing and Corporate Communication) aren't making the move.

I've been following this for a few days. It's interesting that they're moving some of their operations to New York, as that's where NoA was originally stationed when it first started in the 80's. Maybe they just couldn't stand to be so near Microsoft anymore. As for Llewelyn, Harrison and Kaplan, the official word from Nintendo on their departure is that, for now, it's just speculation, which I take to mean as that the three of them haven't made up their minds yet. It'd be a shame to lose them, tho. Kaplan and Harrison, in particular, are two of NoA's classics. I know it's cheesy, but it's a little sad when some of these guys leave. Howard Phillips, Minoru Arakawa, and Howard Lincoln, not to mention Hiroshi Yamauchi, all left a big impression. Of course, the "new guys" (Iwata and Fils-aime) aren't doing so bad, themselves.
