Because they won't all fit on one disk... think about it... the fourth game is a whole Gamecube game in its own right - where on earth are they going to squeeze two N64 and one GBA game on that disk?
Also unlikely, considering Custom Robo didn't do all that well in the US (and STILL hasn't come out in Europe)...

Maybe we weren't ment to get Custom Robo and the Japanese are so lucky they get all the good stuff.

I can think of a few revivals I'd like to see. Mario Paint DS and Duck Hunt DS sound like naturals to me. Of course, I'd love to see Star Tropics III, updated for the 3D generation. I suppose the gameplay would fall somewhere between adventure and platforming. Like the classic games, it would probably be mostly like a Zelda game, but with a jump button added to it. Nothing as elaborate as a Mario game, but enough to keep "tile hopping" part of the series. And it needs plenty of bad jokes.

I hear that! Star Tropics would be an excellent title to revive. It fits in nicely with my desire for more large-scale adventures on Nintendo consoles.

A GameCube disc is comlpex enough to house all SMB games, +SMW games, +SML games, so why not? Same thing for the Zelda games. They are not made for being portable. Because even if it's powerful it may not be capable for EVERYTHING that old systems can do. That's why you'll need a GBA+GC for playing 4 Swords Adventure. But then, for Mario platformers + Mario 64, it should be possible! Selling the old games on GBA seperately may be a strategy for earning, isn't it?

They'd never be able to make Duck Hunt or Wild Gunman game these days, they are too simple. A better idea: Pay Namco and have them put these two titles in the next Point Blank, they'd fit in fine.
And I'm a big pusher for ROB in Smash 3. He'd definetly be good without any outside equipment. He's a robot! Give him Robot attacks!

They'd never be able to make Duck Hunt or Wild Gunman game these days, they are too simple. I thought Nintendo was aiming for simplicity these days. If WareWare Touched, Yoshi's Touch & Go and Polarium are not too simple for the DS, then neither is Duck Hunt. My personal theory for why Nintendo has never revived Duck Hunt is that they're afraid of upsetting animal rights activists. Releasing a Grand Theft Auto and riling up a few US Senators is par for the course. But get a bunch of activists to claim that you're encouraging the murder of poor, innocent animals, and suddenly you're the bad guy.

I think it is about time Nintendo made a Mario 'Collectors Edition disk' like they did with the Zelda series.
And as for Duck Hunt upsetting animal rights activists, there are plenty of games where animals get shot (Tomb Raider 3 immediately springs to mind) so why shouldn't we be allowed to shoot a bunch of virtual ducks!!

Unless a real version of Duck Hunt is released, I don't think it has anything to do with animal rights.
I don't really think that an idea of Mario Collectors' Disk is good - The appearance of the Rev will force you to download the Mario games one by one if you like them, and thus, earn more.
Maybe not... have a total graphic remake and reissue the classic games. Good idea.

I want a new wrecking crew and Balloon fight. I want a new for every classic game! It's been years already, and Nintendo gotta renew them!

A lot of casual gamers couldn't care less about the classics, and just want new stuff, namely epic RPGs (FF7 I would hardly call epic though...) and action games. As cool as it would be to see Pit back in action, or a 3D Pro Wrestling, or something... it won't happen unless Nintendo can believe that it will be popular with EVERYONE. Zelda, Mario, Pokemon, Metroid, etc.... they sell with all walks of gamer life. But games like Kid Icarus, PunchOut, and Mole Mania (all three of which need to be in SSB3 IMO) are forgotten and shoved aside, with good reason as far as the casual gaming public is concerned.

Not necessarily the case. Nintendo can see that it's losing market share at an incredible rate, and it knows part of this is because it's not putting out enough titles that appeal to everybody. Kirby and Pokemon appeal more to the younger end of the market, with only adventures like Zelda and Mario really going for the whole range (and only the Mario platformers, which are few and far between).
I wouldn't necessarily want to see a remake of every Nintendo classic game - Urban Champion would either suck badly, or be so unlike the original that being a remake would defeat the object. Excitebike and Balloon Fight have already been updated (Balloon Kid, Excitebike 64).
I want to see more of large classics updated. Nazo no Murasamejou, Star Tropics, Kid Icarus... adventures are a lot more appealing... and if there isn't a name for it amongst the casual gamers, Nintendo need to stop whining and MAKE a name for it. 3D Kid Icarus is quite possibly the most sought-after game never made... so it's not like the game will flop.
