i read that super mario bros came out for famicom and famicom disk drive. What is the difference between the two versions?

Like many of the games that came out for both Famicom and Disk Drive, there is no difference. On the site I have taken this into account by only linking to separate game pages where there's differences (Ice Climber, Clu Clu Land, Kaettekita Mario Bros...)
The one exception is Metroid, where the Japanese Disk System exclusive version is slightly different to the US cartridge version (it's got a save file system rather than passwords for a start), but the game proper is identical.
