I just finished getting all of the music coins in Wario Land 3 and just wanted to talk about how great the game is. First of all, it's one of the best puzzle/platforming games I've ever played. It takes the winning formula of Wario Land 2 and adds nothing but brilliance to it. For example, the treasure that you collect in this game has impacts on your environment and on the abilities you're able to perform. How cool is that? And there are 100 pieces of treasure to discover (four in each of the 25 levels), as well as 8 music coins to collect in each level. The level design is incredible, requiring great platforming skill as well as the ability to solve some very challenging puzzles. Wario is called upon to use every trick up his sleeve to beat the game 100%. And there is a huge variety of ways to change Wario's status. He can turn into a zombie, a vampire and even a snowball. At one point, you even have to take advantage of the brief flashing your character goes through after changing back to normal form. To top it all off, there is an extremely addictive Golf mini-game.
This is the best game to come out for Gameboy Color in my opinion. If you love platforming games and challenging puzzles, or if you've just been skeptical about Wario Land games, please do yourself a favor and find a copy of this game to play.

I didn't like the golf minigame that much, but I still think WL3 stands as one of the finest GBC games. Yet I still have to collect all of those music coins

Wario Land 3 was fun, but I'd take Land 2 over it again. Flagman DD is worth the price alone ;D

WL3 was the only Wario Land game I ever played, aside from possibly Wario World (does that count?) and it was pretty fun. I have to agree with Fryguy, though -- the golf minigame sucked something inappropriate.

Welcome to the board! And yes, I would say Wario World counts as a "Wario Land" game. Hence why I have included it as such in the Wario Series Game List

OK, if I had to rank them:
5. Wario Land 4 4. Wario Land 3. VB Wario Land 2. Wario Land II 1. Wario Land 3
I haven't played Wario World yet.

My ranking goes thusly:
6. Wario Land 4 5. VB Wario Land 4. Wario World 3. Wario Land 3 2. SML3: Wario Land 1. Wario Land 2
But I like ALL of them, so it's not necessarily a list of worst to best ;D

I only played the first three WL's long ago. I'll one day get all six of those games.

Although I have all the Wario games, I've only ever got around to finishing 4 and World. Wait... I may have finished the first one, I don't recall.
