I need all you Nintendo lovers to put your heads together and help me remeber a game from my child hood. I have spent hours looking for it and can not think of what it is called. This is a Space game your inside a space ship and you fly around (Duh) you can land on planets and when you do you scroll down and at the bottom is either mountains or a person that helps you (I forget..mabey they give you something??) anyway when you take off (by pressing select) you scroll back up into space. I also remember you come across black holes and if you get stuck in them you lose. I also remember when you turn the game on the credits roll and the space ship shows up. The pilot gets out of the ship waves and gets back in and takes off.
That is all I remember of this game. I know that me and my dad would play that together and I have really good memories of it, couldn't tell you if it was any good or not, but there it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Was this for the NES?
It sounds like it COULD be Solar Jetman. Any more details (such as system, rough date, etc.) would be helpful.

It isn't Solar Jet Man.....this game is almost like a flight sim in that you are always in the cockpit. And I remember it being prety much black except for the cockpit of the ship that you could see. The planets that you landed on had diffrent color backgrounds like orange and blue.....And I belive that this came out in the early 90's

Still no system name... but I'm going to make another guess - a retro game from my childhood that was on the Amiga or something...
Captain Blood?

Could it be Star Voyager: or Destination Earthstar: Or even To The Earth: If it's none of them then I'm stumped!
