Dunno. Depends on the game. I imagine the VC controller is quite good for SNES games, but not so good for N64 games. Actually, none of them look particularly good for N64 games. Gimme a custom N64 controller any day ;D

I'll go for the Gamecube controller seeing it'll be the one that i'll be using when I get a Wii. Besides the VC controller has the two analogue sticks too close together.

Im going with the Gamecube. Id rather not spend 120 extra bucks when I can use something I already own.

Gimme a custom N64 controller any day ;D Have you seen those third party controller adaptors that let you plug and old controller (such as the triple-prong-of-death N64 one) into the Cube slot? Pretty cool.

The Classic Controller really is amazing. Altered Beast plays excellently on it, and I'm guessing it'll be my choice controller for SNES games as well. There doesn't seem like a non-awkward solution to N64 games though.

Given that both Loz:MM and LoZ:OoT/MQ on the Zelda:Collectors Edition both work OK while using a GC pad (although the c-stick isn't as good as the N64's c-buttons when it comes to playing the ocarina), I don't see why VC N64 games shouldn't be much different.

Well, I want all 3. And I also want the Wiimote, it can be used for NES/FC games.
I don't think any of these can replace each other, huh?

I choose the GameCube controller. I am just saying this out of curiosity, but I've noticed that the difference between the Nintendo controllers has increased.

The Nintendo controller has never been consistent. Really the NES and SNES had more in common than any other subsequent generations of controllers.
