Heh, it's unfair because by the time you've worked the sum out (if you're as crap at maths as me) then you don't have time to click the mouse the desired number of times... especially when it's 16 clicks I barely had time for 3!
But I love the Judge one. Could you just make a version of Judge?

Hehe, this is pretty fun That one minigame is indeed a bit unfair because it doesn't give you enough time, like the others said. Perhaps you could make time pass a bit more slowly just for that one, or make sure that the result of the sum is always 10 or lower.
Also, I see you got a video of the GameCube startup screen Where did you find it?
EDIT: Also, FryGuy... what about that 'No fangames' rule of this forum? Just kidding, just kidding...
Post by nocturnal YL on Aug 7, 2005 8:51:28 GMT -5
This is just a test version. In the final version you won't be able to see the variables, that is, how many times did you click for the adding game, which game did the computer choose or whether you won or not.
I don't think so. Just look at the left number, and click it that number of times, then do the same for the right. The number you have to click would never exceed 21 (very odd, eh?), so if you practise enough, I think it should be okay. (This is a test of IQ: Would you just click it or work out the sum first?)
As for the Judge game, sorry, Even if I do make it I can't make a 1-player version. I don't know much about programming for a computer player. Plus, I've forgotten the scoring for it.
For Gamecube startup screen, I just used my TV card. I forgot about that DScaler (TV card program) could record video losslessly.
Finally to the "No fangame" rule. My comment is: Interesting rule, eh?
It's updated. However, it's pretty slow in speed (I used transparent images which Flash cannot run fast with it), so it's recommended that you download it first if you have Flash standalone Player. If you don't but have Firefox, Mozilla, Konqueror, Opera, anything non-IE based, then use them, don't use IE. Standalone Player and Non-IE based Web Player both work faster than IE Web Player.
Note that the game is still unfinished, and it still have bugs. When your game is over, the "game" counter still increases by 1.
Improvements: -1 more (stupid) game -Easier addition math game (Next time I may add 4-digit multiplication! ;D - just kidding) -In-between scene added, but it's pretty silly. I'm not an expert in artwork. -Now the variables are hidden away!!!
Updated again. I plan to add 2 microgames, but I did only make one at last. It's the debugging and the idea think that are annoying. (Well, graphics and programming means nothing, eh?)
Now, I would like to look for ideas of the opening scene, ending scene, in-between scene, and more. Chain Chomp fighting seems not to be a too great idea: When I show this game to some people who never played WarioWare, they thought they have to fight with Chomp!

Hmm, the shooting game isn't bad, though it does feel a bit weird.
As for people thinknig they have to battle Chomp, I say thats fine - one of the main elements of WarioWare is total confusion. But I'd put Wario in it doing something. I don't know what, but something strange.

I think you should add more minigames related to Nintendo games and consoles, like the ones where you have to turn on the GameCube and pick the Memory Card 251... Those were also my favourite kinds of games in the WarioWare games But then again, that's just me... it's your game

A brief story of my game:
At frst I intended to make a Mario version of WarioWare - however it is an animation instead. However, I got stuck in some part, making me to think to actually make it a game. I went through some ideas like a Mario scene or a Kirby scene. The idea is still not confirmed - even now - the Chomp scene is just temporaily (Unless you guys like it enough then I'll just use it.)
I myself want to link this game to existing Nintendo stuff too, but I still want to keep a balance that only 2 thirds of the microgames are Nintendo related,
nocturnal YL: I'm… not sure if I'll read your spoiler discussions. I don't think I'll get the chance to play this, but at the same time, I'm not entirely sure I won't, either.

nocturnal YL: I have yet another pile of games waiting to be played. Due to various circumstances (I'm busy at work, this month's weekends are filled with family events, and Project DIVA Mega Mix just got new DLC), I'm not able to play them yet.

nocturnal YL: I'm currently at 34 Switch games played. I've been thinking about my Switch review videos and I'll make another at 36 or 40 games. Leaning towards 36.

nocturnal YL: I actually wanted to remake the older ones as well. I didn't notice that the 2nd video had volume issues in the audio until I have my current PC.

Nester the Lark: If you're thinking of playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3, then definitely *don't* read the late-game spoilers I posted.

Shrikeswind: So I assume everyone here's heard the news but for those who haven't, Queen Elizabeth died today.

Shrikeswind: I learned on the way home from work today - I stopped in at a McDonalds for lunch, was checking the news in line, and...well, there it was.

Nester the Lark: I knew it was serious when I heard the whole royal family dropped whatever they were doing to be by her side.

Nester the Lark: I'm not British, but there's never not been a Queen of England during my lifetime (and indeed, most of a lifetime before that), so even though I knew it had to happen eventually, it still feels a little weird.

Nester the Lark: I guess there is still the "Queen Consort," but I'm talking about how there's a King now.

Nester the Lark: Well, a lot to take in there. I'll post my impressions either later or tomorrow.

Nester the Lark: The English lip sync in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has spoiled me. I was hoping Fire Emblem: Engage would have it, too, but comparing the English and Japanese trailers, it doesn't seem to be the case.

Nester the Lark: Wondering if I should create a thread for Fire Emblem: Engage, or just talk about it in the general Fire Emblem thread...

Nester the Lark: Nintendo has had a good rhythm with their releases. When I'm tired of Xenoblade, they release a new Fire Emblem. When I'm tired of Fire Emblem, they release a new Xenoblade. When I'm tired of both, they release a new Zelda.

nocturnal YL: Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a relatively new game in terms of TAS, so it usually doesn't look as impressive as Super Mario 64. But sometimes we get stuff like this: Cosmic Cove Green Star 1 in 20.58s

nocturnal YL: I'm about to start on my next review video. I'll use the same 1080p-in-1440p format (so that the caption is separate from the game clips), and I'm wondering if I can make better use of the left and right edges. I probably can't think of anything though.

Nester the Lark: Apologies for my silence lately. I have a lot going on IRL right now.

nocturnal YL: I'm not busy or anything, but I don't really have anything substantial to say either. I'm in Fire Emblem mood now, playing Warriors 3H and really looking forward to Engage, but I'll save discussions for later.

nocturnal YL: Also in case people don't read Nester's Twitter, his issue is that he has lost Internet connection after moving to a place no ISP seems to serve.
