Nintendo vs Sega would be a great game (Nintendo vs Sega, not Nintendo Vs Sonic, Sega has a lot more than sonic, I just wish they would actually remember that ) Nintendo Vs Disney, I don't know, most of Disney characters don't actually do any fighting (Nintendo vs WB would make more sense just see the properties that Belong to WB Superman, Batman, Looney Tunes, Yogi Bear and friends). And Square really messed it up, if they wanted to do a Disney RPG they should have done one in the Scrounge McDuck universe, that would actually Rock!

...I'm going to follow a different tack than the one I've been on for the past few days :D Now, I'm making planning something of a Nintendo and Disney collaboration of a Smash game. Nothing to do with KH, apparently, but this just combines several Disney and Nintendo elements into a Smash game. Ideas drawn from SSBB (as time passes) and some of my own. Playable CharactersNintendo DivisionMario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus, Pit, Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong, Yoshi, Captain Olimar, Tom Nook, Bowser, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Meta Knight, Peach, Zelda, Krystal, Jody Summer, Palutena, Ribbon, Zero Suit Samus, Wario, King Dedede, King K. Rool Disney DivisionMickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Minnie Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Simba, Aladdin, Hercules, Tarzan, Peter Pan, Beast, Ariel, Alice, Mulan, Aurora, Jack Skellington, Jack Sparrow, Tron, Pete (Old Timey self) Game ModesThe usual multiplayer The Subspace Emissary: The object here would be to go and traverse through several sectors, defeating several enemies and bosses, saving "friend" characters who have been trapped in trophy forms. Defeating bosses will free them. Bosses usually hold from 1-4 characters stuck as trophies. StagesAll Melee ones with more amendments, all Brawl ones, made-up ones, and most Disney ones. Details coming another time. ItemsPending, again. Eh, that's all of it for now. Feeling obliged to suggest anything or mock me for this? Suit yourself. I like this concept with the exception of a few things! The fact that you included Tron gets you major Old School points (unless you're just ganking the idea from KH2...but I won't criticize really because Tron was one of the best parts of that game), and that nobody's really thought of a Disney cross with Nintendo before. I think this has enough weight to swing! The only thing I think you could deviate from is your choice of stages. Aesthetically updated versions of every stage from Melee and Brawl wouldn't do much to give the NintenDisney game its own identity. Otherwise, nifty! I'd like to see where you take this idea. (Now how many of you were expecting this, huh? :D)

This is a fun idea. I've many times fantasized with a crossover like that (and not necessarily an RPG). It happened when some magazine stated in the 90s that Mario's popularity was nearly as big as Mickey Mouse's, and it happened again when Rare developed Mickey's Speedway USA. If a general crossover fighting game doesn't work, maybe a crossover between Mario characters and Mickey Mouse characters could. The sequels were annoying, but the Walt Disney Classics series are generally fantastic, and unlike most of the crap that America churns out, they aren't afraid to show kids things like meaningful death scenes. It's because of that fantasy feel that I think this wouldn't be that bad. I mean, just watch the intro movie for SSBM. Doesn't it feel as fantastic as if you made a video of clips from various Disney characters and their universes? Hum. I went to Walt Disney World for vacation a month ago, and I spent a whole day thinking of how Nintendo could've made a theme park similar in concept. I don't get why they haven't planned to make one yet . Do they lack the money or what?

In my opinion about the idea: BAD IDEA.
When I was very young, I used to like Disney, because of Mickey Mouse. Few years later, I liked their Volkswagon Beetle character, Herbie, more than Mickey Mouse, because of how unusual and cute he looked. Few more years later, when the Lion King came out, it made me dislike than and Disney, because they were so overrated, I kept seeing stuff related to them over and over inside of stores and television. What was really worse was that it had paws and paw prints. I couldn't stand seeing them, because they looked nasty and ugly. They made me have an OCD, but now I don't. Today, they don't bother me as much as before, but I still dislike them.
And did anyone know that Nintendo made some Disney Game & Watch hand helds, as well as some Popeye and Peanuts (a.k.a. Charlie Brown & Snoopy) ones?
If there was a *insert video game company* VS. SEGA, then I would hope for some characters from Virtua Fighter, Clockwork Knight 1 and 2, Alex Kidd series, Space Harrier, Green Dog, Vectorman, Comix Zone, Kid Chameleon, Fighting Vipers, Fighter's Megamix, BUG!, Ristar, Fantasy Zone, and perhaps Segata Sanshiro (from his SEGA Saturn commercials) and Segagaga.

They don't need to use overrated characters... Not sure if the following are overrated: - Any of the dwarfs
- Some of Donald's friends from The Three Amigos
- Disney's version of Robin Hood
- Disney's version of Pinocchio
- Brer Rabbit from Song of the South
- Disney's version of King Arthur,
- Some of the characters from The Black Cauldron.
I guess there's no need for the lions from Lion King unless you're going to use Bambi or other classic quadrupedal animals . They could even use an animated Mary Poppins (Peach just reminded me of her ). And there's always the villains, too. One set of characters would be funny for this type of games (Flint mentioned it) is the Looney Tunes. Disney characters are made of magic, but the Looney Tunes are made of pure wackiness and they are a lot, too. If I'm not mistaken, they did use their own abilities in games like Looney Tunes B-Ball, so why not a fighting game? Still, as a crossover with Nintendo I'd still prefer Disney.

(you showed me this before...)
Without the Nintendo crossover, this would be alright, I guess...although you just snatched characters right out of Kingdom Hearts, didn't you? I'm for Johans' ideas of underrated characters like Brer Rabbit or Merlin...or Panchito. <3
