licensed cameos will probably not enter this site, but thanks for the information anyway.
Also, are hardware appearences considered as cameos? Things like the word "Nintendo DS" appear in Polarium... I don't think they count, especially in this case, since the platform of this game IS Nintendo DS!

Heh heh... I know of both Viewtiful Joe cameos (the other being the appearance of ROB on the boxart in the US... someone scan that for me... he's not on the European one ) But that is slightly different... it's a cameo in a non-Nintendo game, but that doesn't necessarily mean Nintendo openly licensed it to them. It's just a cute reference. However, I have been collecting these together to form ANOTHER new cameo section (which currently includes the Mega Man Battle Network series, and maybe a few others when I've confirmed them). A Pikachu-skin rug? What WERE Capcom thinking!!

I don't think they count, especially in this case, since the platform of this game IS Nintendo DS! Much like classic Mario references in modern Mario games, it all depends on context and so on. If a Game Boy puzzle game features the word (or a picture of) "Game Boy" as one of the puzzles then I may include it... but it's not a high priority. System references are extremely common.

I was reading through the Soul Calibur II page, and you missed a few weapons.
Great Fairy Sword (from Majora's Mask) Butterfly Net (from Link to the Past...makes a goofy noise, but I haven't unlocked it yet, so I can't say what it sounds like yet)
Link also has three additional costumes - the Red, Blue and Purple tunics from Four Swords.

Also if you dont know yet. In Donkey Kong Jungle Beat the first level(called Dawn Savana) plays the music from the first level of DKC.

I do know, because I own DKJB... but it's not a cameo because they're both Donkey Kong platformers. I'm even unsure whether I should include the DK Arcade 'victory' noise as a cameo, as it seems to have been adopted as a standard sound effect in the game.

I'd include it if i owned my own website based on Nintendo

Does that mean every time the Mario Coin sound effect is used in a Mario game for anything other than collecting coins that I should include it?
Seeing as it would be the only DKJB cameo I've seen, it would make for a pretty lame cameo page.

Butterfly Net (from Link to the Past...makes a goofy noise, but I haven't unlocked it yet, so I can't say what it sounds like yet) I sounds like the majority of the other "joke" weapons. You know the sound I'm talking about, hopefully, as its hard to describe. And the Red and Blue tunics appear in OoT, not sure if the purple one a ppears in other games, or if the red and blue appear in an earlier game.

Techincally, the red and blue tunics in OoT were inspired by the Rings in the original Legend of Zelda, which in turn have been used in other Zelda games as either rings, special tunics or magical effects. Since Namco included the Purple Four Swords tunic, I'm safely assuming they were basing Link's colors from Four Swords. He's also the only character in SCII (at least the GC version) to have four costumes.

Cameos I discovered: In Yoshi Touch & Go, after you go through one of the stages, in the end, if you accheived a high score, you get to choose a picture to go along with your score... about 20 of them are 8-bit Super Mario Bros. pictures. I'll supply a list later. I finally made a list. Mario Luigi Peach Toad Bowser Green Koopa Troopa Goomba Hammer Bro. Paranha Plant Lakatu Spiny Bloober Cheep-Cheep Super Mushroom Fire Flower Star
