And the Koopalings could be Bowser's or Bowser Jr.'s super.

No. No he isn't. He ranks in somewhere above Kamek the Magikoopa and somewhere under Toadsworth.

He's great, for sure, but the chances of him being playable in SSBB are roughly the chances that Alex Kidd will be playable. Within the vague realm of possibility, but so incredibly unlikely that it's not even worth speculating.

I prefer all of them except Daisy, Waluigi, Bowser JR., BM&L and King Boo. Bowser JR I just don't like, Daisy and Waluigi are just lame spinoff characters IMO, and I don't want the babies because I don't think there needs to be more Mario's, and KIng Boo is another character I just don't like. Yoshi and Luigi are pretty much shoe-ins to return, Bowser and Peach are also extremley likely to come back, Toad is pretty likely and he's the character I'm hoping for the most and I'm just very pro-Kamek.

And face it, Daisy and Waluigi have a high chance. They've been in pretty much every Mario sports title, and are very well known.

Oh, I know they have a chance, well, Daisy I'm not sure about, but Waluigi's chances are at least decent, as for the Mario characters I'd like.

I'd expect a maximum of 2 non-Yoshi and non-Wario new Mario characters; they have to fill those "around 40" characters with other game series. IMO, Toad and Bowser Jr. look like better candidates than Waluigi and Daisy, but I wouldn't mind at all if they made cameos in stages or something.

I like Waluigi and all, but he and Daisy are barely on the same level as Petey Piranha here. Waluigi hasn't shown his face in a single Mario platforming or RPG game, and Daisy's only been in one: Super Mario Land, which was released between SMB2 and SMB3. That means Daisy and Waluigi have less canon appearances than Petey (if the Mario universe can even be described as canon at this point), as Petey has been in Super Mario Sunshine, Super Princess Peach and New Super Mario Bros. I'd say the chances of any of these three getting in are pretty close to nil.

Bowser Jr, unfortunately, I could see getting into the game. I hate the little stain, but he's all over the place in canon Mario games. Personally, I'd be glad if they just included Toad for the sake of the Mario Roster in replacement of Dr. Mario.

And why do you include Yoshi, but not DK or Wario? They're as much part of the Mario franchise as Yoshi is, yet they are also very much so their own franchises. They're no different from each other.

I'd say the difference is the Yoshi games always contain Mario and/or Bowser while Wario and DK have created a new cast of characters for their games.

Here's how I'd place the Mario characters in order of importance(Including Yoshi, DK, and Wario):

1. Mario
2. Bowser
3. Peach, Luigi
4. Wario, Yoshi, DK
5. Toad, Diddy
6. Bowser Jr., Toadsworth, K. Rool
7. Waluigi, Daisy, Birdo, Dixie
8. Kammy, Kamek
9. Toadette, Petey, King Boo
10. Mallow, Geno, and other RPG partners

I fail to see how that seperates Wario and Donkey Kong from the Mario franchise, though--especially as they're basically everywhere in the series. Even DK's "universe" is starting to cross over with Mario, what with Diddy's inclusion in Mario Baseball and Double Dash, and Dixie's in Baseball as well.
