It makes sense for Kirby to be in the new demo after Kirby's hats were revealed. Sakurai probably just figured the info would slip out of the convention anyway.

Also, they obviosely removed Sonic from the demo because he wasn't popular in Japan, despite being made there.The people over there wouldnt've really cared either way.

I don't really think either case is likely. Kirby probably hadn't been ready at the time--and, likely with Sonic now, they may have had to do some retooling for the character. We saw a lot of new content from E for All, anyway, so it's doubtful that Kirby wasn't in just in order to avoid showing off the hats.

It confirmes that this demo is different. Kirby and Wario are both playable, but Sonic and DK aren't. Also, the Summit and Temple are both selectable courses. Not sure about Warioware.

Was going to make a "change" American Kirby, but I'm not that skilled at Fireworks.

The Wario Ware stage, from some impressions on Smashboards (same topic, Smash), is only in the trailer. Temple and Summit are playable.

And this one guy gives impressions that claim the Summit eventually hits shallow water and the mountain rises once again from the sea, and that's how the level resets. But he also swears he played Wario Ware and that it's confusing as all hell to play in. So who knows.

*thumbs sinuses* If what Smashchu said is true, then DK wasn't playable for Jump Festa. DK's picture is still in that banner, though, oddly enough. You need to do a bit more research before making unverified claims like that.

Also, if you can write "Sorry, didn't realize caps lock was on," why on God's green earth didn't you go back and fix it...? It baffles the mind.
