Flip, the robot is ROB64 and the machine is Dragoon from Kirby Air Ride. Someone said the spaceship thing is from Pikmin, called a "Fiery Blowhog". Never into Pikmin much so I have no idea if that's correct. Most excellent. Thanks! And the Fiery Blowhog sounds right, actually. I can see that. Pikmin trophies.. Hmm...

Animal Crossing content so far: Two trophies in todays update, an item, a stage and by virtue of the stage, an icon. Seems like a lot of content for a franchise with no rep, doesn't it?

Probably because most of them appear in the background of AC's stage and they just gotta turn them into trophies to explain them like Green Green's Wispy Woods. (an Animal Crossing fighter would rock though)

I'm hoping the appearance of trophies based on fairly generic Pikmin enemies (Bulborb and Blowhog so far) points to, at the very least, a Pikmin stage. that would be pretty fantastic.

Simply brilliant. Reminds me of one of these arcade games, the one about the turret defending the city domes from bombardments.

This game just gets better and better! There's layers upon layers of juicy goodness to this game, and so many cool little details found within those layers!

This is awesome. This game really will last forever. No, it'll last until the next one improves upon it. Still, this game is going to last a long time. An arcade game to earn trophies is brilliant. Sakurai must have read my mind when I thought that earning trophies should be more about skill than luck.

This is a big improvement over the Lottery. Just last night I went to the Lottery but turned around because I found it to be very boring once you got 270+ trophies that it gives you a lot of old trophies more and more. So I'm liking this update!

This also confirms that coins will be easier to get. I mean, in one image, over 200 coins is shown! Also, you'd need a lot of coins if you wanna shoot those missiles...

Maybe the max exceeds 999? Pikmin trophies also give me hope for Olimar. Icon 19 maybe.
Now, this is a great update, but I'm not as excited about it. I think I've gotten to the point where I just want the game. I'll love this mode when the game is out, but right now I'm a little more ancious(may someone give me the spelling for this one) for the characters and stages.
