I squealed like a schoolgirl. Not lying one bit.  Oh man... ANOTHER character to try and master. I love how he basically has FIVE Nanas. The tourney players aren't even gonna TOUCH him ;p |

Wowee! I didn't see this one coming! In fact I was fairly sure we'd get no more characters between now and the game's release! I'm going to hazard a guess that one of his moves pulls up Pikmin to fight alongside him, and that they can be beaten away, and all his other moves depend somewhat on which one is next in line (eg. Purple Pikmin causes most damage). But I'm-a just speculatin'  |

Whoever made the fake one got all pikman colours write! Freaky! He just used the three regular Pikmin colours... how is that freaky? |

Looks like the "but he's too small!" excuse is officially out of the window! LAWL
I'm really excited about Pikmin & Olimar. I like how he is teamed up with five Pikmin to fight. Now this is very original!
So what franchise number is the Pikmin symbol? Does it come in #19 (between Kid Icarus #18 and Sonic #20) or #22 (after DS #21)?
Also I'm very pleased to see that the Brawl Poll is proven to be correct once again. So there's still hope for Geno, Krystal, Takamaru, Wind Waker Link, and Ridley. I'm rooting WW Link all the way! He would disprove the "but the graphics don't fit!" excuse.
Pikmin & Olimar is the fourth newcomer I am very excited about. I can't wait to play with Pit, Pokemon Trainer, and Lucas.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting more franchises after the DS one. That one seemed kinda... final to me. Unless there was a Wii one also. Another assumption blown out of the water! EDIT: Also, while I'd love to see Wind Waker Link, I think the "graphics don't fit" argument is at least partially valid. People want him to be cel-shaded, which likely wouldn't be possible. You'd be surprised just how much processing power cel-shading takes. It's actually fairly hard for a computer to do. With the amount going on in Smash already, I doubt it'd be possible. Still, a Wind Waker Link shaded regularly is something I see no problem with. ;D |

Maybe WW Link doesn't have to be cel-shaded, he just have to look cartoony. You know, big head, big eyes, stubby limbs, wacky facial expressions, yet with the same graphical shading as Pikmin & Olimar and Lucas. Four Links would be an awesome FS! Personally, I'd love for WW Link to float in air like Peach by having Ezlo (from TMC) to act as a parachute. That'd be hilarious! Back to topic.... I'm very curious as to how Pikmin & Olimar would work and what their specials are. I'm very confident that the down special is Olimar pulling new Pikmin out and that he is limited to only five Pikmin at a time. So once he loses one Pikmin, he can pull out a new one. And once he has five Pikmin, he can't pull out any more new ones. |

We all know there's swimming in the game... how about when Olimar gets in the water he loses all his pikmin except the blue ones?

Swimming was confirmed? Well, if it is, both Samuses and Sonic are doomed but Peach and Yoshi wouldn't sink in water like in SPP and SMW2YI.
Back to topic, I think I know what Pikmin & Olimar's FS will be - Olimar summons some Onions to drop many Pikmin till there are 100 Pikmin running around and beating up Olimar's foes and bringing items back to him.

Also icon #13 right below Sonic's is still unknown.... Come onnnnn Megaman...! No, 13 is Mr. Game & Watch. It's already been proven, icons are in order of Smash game, and Ice Climbers is 14. I'm curious though, what's 19? Golden Sun please? |
