SAlso I'm really wondering right now how Kirby'll look when he copies ROB. I'm guessing he gets those creepy ROB eyes. I've been picturing him wearing Rob's head over his eyes like sunglasses. I was right. ^_^ Pew pew!

And Ganondorf's Final Smash is NOTHING like Captain Falcon's! Ganondorf changes to Beast Ganon and charges forward, whereas Capt. Falcon's is an attack similar to Dragoon, where he runs you over in the Blue Falcon in a whole cutscene thing! Also, don't knock Wolf and Lucas, they feel as much like clones as Luigi does! Falco has that nifty Throwing Reflector now! Lucario is nothing like Mewtwo except his Standard Special! About the only one you could REALLY complain about is Toon Link, but then it was Adult Link who got the differentiation. They are NOT clones on the level of Dr. Mario.

Dorf's FS is just Falcon's without the following cutscene, what are you talking about? Falcon hits them with the car by driving into them, LIKE GANON USES HIS BEAST FORM, but then adds a cutscene where he runs them over. It's the same thing, they just subtracted a scene.

That's exactly how I saw it, Flip. I already main as Ganondorf in Melee, but I don't know about Brawl. If he feels the same as before, I might still main him... but if he feels different in a good way, I might still main him.. but if he feels different in a bad way, I probably would use him as much as I do with Pichu in Melee... which is very rarely. Oh, did anyone here seen footage of ROB in action? Wow! For someone who "never fought before", he looks really fun to play with... and his movements make sense! Involves lots of spinning his arms around his body... just like how the real ROB would work when you play Gyromite and Stack-Up. And he shoots red laser beams! Cool! Oh, and Port Town is really just like Mute City (to the point it replaced Mute City) only it is more prettier! And the cars also hit from the side!

Ganondorf also charges forward. Falcons is closest to Meta-Knights. Ganondorf's is in it's own group. It just blazes forward.

From the "every Final Smash" video it looked almost like Ganondorf's might be able to hit multiple people at once... anyone seen a vid confirming or deconfirming this?

At least Sonic and Pikachu have their unique A and B moves... so that's all right to overlook the similar Final Smash. But the biggest offender is the famous Landmaster Tank! Fox alone was just perfect. Falco was kinda pushing it... but Wolf, too? This is too much that it seems Sakurai was slacking in the moveset department. But he more than made that up by making so many modes and stages to play through. I really love the Stage Builder... it almost makes me wish Sakurai had put in the Character Builder with Mii's to create your own movesets, too.

To everyone who is dissatisfied over the triplicate use of the Landmaster, or any other little detail - from not having a certain number of assist trophies to the final roster itself - I have one thing to tell you (and Neko Neko Panic, you're excluded from this blanket statement, and you know the reason why):
Fuck you.
And I mean this in the friendliest way possible in most cases because I respect most of your opinions and consider a lot of you friends, but you're starting to sound like broken records. 'Oh shit, three characters use Landmasters as final smashes?' We know, we have known for days at this point - get over it. To me it feels like a lot of you are taking the game for granted just because of the little, tiny details that do not meet your specifications.
You're not alone, though - I feel for you! Only one new F-Zero stage, and of the ten known F-Zero songs in the game, seven are directly from their games of origin. I feel a little bitter each time I stop and consider how unbalanced representation is this time around. However, I also feel a bit like an asshole because I realize that - balance issues or no - this is going to be the last Smash Brothers game for a while, if not forever. Seeing as how we're probably not going to get downloadable content, I can't afford to be bummed over franchise unbalance. Really, when you consider it, F-Zero is getting a lot of love for what its worth to Nintendo; an ongoing franchise with a lot of market value in the west and a few spinoff games ain't bad for one new stage, one old stage, a veteran character and ten songs (even if seven are unchanged).
I'm just tired of the attitudes, people. There was a seven year gap between Melee and Brawl, and we ought to make Brawl last at least that long, if not further into the future, you know? For the love of God, stop acting like you've been slighted just because a few concepts get repeated a few times, or because your obscure one-game NES-era Japan-only franchise got a song and a mention in the Archive thingywhatsis (an apt amount of content related to Takamaru given how much his game - not franchise, just a single game - have produced in comparison to Pit, for example).
So, come now. We didn't just pierce the "Fog of Insanity" from craptastic Dojo updates only to fall victim to a "squelchy slovenly jell-o brick of dissatisfaction."

I was right. ^_^ Pew pew! Haha awesome. Kirby's like a little leatherface. Also yeah I've seen Ganondorf's FS hits multiple people in a video somewhere here. It's near the end of the vid.

I'll wizzle YOUR council, milord! But me? I'm not upset that some minor game from the NES got ignored. I'm just upset that a Nintendo series of 12 games - over twice as expansive as half of the represented franchises - got jacked. I ain't losing no sleep over it, but it certainly makes those vigorous Fire Emblem vs. Nintendo Wars fights less valid when we know which side Sakurai is on.

It's still a slap in the face, and you can't deny that. I disagree. Let's say I spend two years painting a beautiful picture for you guys; it's a huge project that absorbs so much of my time that I inconvenience myself because I believe pure-heartedly in the picture and how much I want to spread my love to you all. Two years come and go, the picture gets finished and I post it up online; While generally well-received, one issue people notice is that there are no colors related to the color Red in the picture at all. The only colors in the picture are blue, green, yellow and greytones.
Most people are cool with this, but then some of those with whom I kept in mind while I busted my balls over this picture gripe. They liked the red and orange and purples that I shamelessly left out; and you can't make brown without red either, despite it not being the most attractive color out there, its earthen hue certainly would have added weight to the painting. Instead of gratitude - instead of a "Thank you, TEi, for working so hard on this piece of artistic exploration made with us in mind," I get "Shit, TEi, where are the reds? Where are the purples and oranges and browns? This is crap; clearly you don't appreciate those colors not as well-liked as those tied to the color green, or the shady graytones." Of course, I would ♥ you all no less than I already do, but I wouldn't deny that you'd hurt me a little bit, and I'd certainly be less inclined to paint you such an epic picture in the future.
Which seems more like a slap to the face to you then: my neglect of those colors related to red, or your reaction to that neglect? While the griping of message board members in a completely different geographical region will hardly impact Sakurai that much, you still understand where I'm coming from.

There's one problem with your example.
What if you said your painting was going to be a rainbow. But THEN you left out red. It's still a good painting. Everyone likes it still. But, you know, the lack of red is odd. Isn't it part of the visible light spectrum? As a picture advertised as showing the entire visible light spectrum, leaving out a major color is just odd. And then someone says, "Hey! There's no red in that picture!" Then someone says, "Shut up you bastard! It's fine!" Then someone else says, "But it's supposed to have red!" And then they get KILLED on their way home.
So a Nintendo game that is supposed to show the Nintendo All-Stars... but then doesn't have all the stars... is strange. It's still a great game. But it's not what we were expecting.

But Smash 64 already had the rainbow. Red was there from the start. Whats missing is some obscure light-greenish-brown that wasn't really necessary to complete the rainbow.
