Obviously if they are just going to use in-game models and artwork for trophies and stickers respectfully, then you obviously can't expect characters who've NEVER been in a 3D game to have a trophy, can you? Any character who got a model made for Brawl are either Fighters, Assist Trophies, Bosses, or enemies in the SSE and needed a 3D model. I'm a bit disappointed that Nintendo didn't get trophy models in Melee and added a bit more information to previous trophies. I agree with you on the SSE thing, but for this you are being a bit ridiculous. You are basically saying "it is how it is for this reason". Yes... we know, and we can blatantly see that. What we're saying is that no effort was put into it compared to Melee where we had a LOAD of characters who had never been in a 3D game turned into character models. For Melee, there was a lot of time and effort put into making the trophy mode truly amazing. This time it doesn't look like any effort has been put in... it's just imported 3D models, and it's a huge disappointment for those of us expecting all the interesting characters to come out of the woodwork... as they did in Melee.

And would you rather have the game delayed even further and more man-hours devoted just to add some all new trophies?

How do you mean delayed even further? It's not even out here yet! And yes - if this is supposed to be the definitive and final Smash Bros. then I want it to be awesome in every way possible. At least more awesome than Melee.

Once again, I think I has more to do with how they balanced the franchise representation, there are TONS of never before seen Kirby trophies, all the Fire Emblem ones aren´t from in Game models (because I know that In-game models in Fire Emblem look terrible), but then why didn't they do some Wario Ware trophies? (look WW has many characters that deserved it) and we got to many Animal Crossing trophies, which if not made for Brawl were at least cleaned up (They have Hi-res textures unlike the in game ones from AC) even in the "OTHER" section of trophies some series were clearly overrepresented (3 "never before in 3D" trophies for Magical Starsign)

Why not have trophies of all 493 Pokémon while we're at it? That reminds me...All of the Pokémon stickers are just their Brawl renders. No Ken Sugimori art or anything. What IS up with that?

All the Animal Crossing Trophies were cleaned up because most of them appear in Smashville. That's the stage's uhh... gimmick.
The Fire Emblem trophies don't HAVE to be in-game models... they could be from the cutscenes. I don't believe they would've made new Fire Emblem trophies without having a Sigurd one. You have a point on Kirby and Magical Starsign.
Oh and yes, poor Europe doesn't get their Smash on until Christmas. But that doesn't mean it WOULDN'T be delayed more for Europe. Oh, and definitive and final Smash Bros. game? HA! You do not end the series that has your best selling game of all time in it. You make a sequel. Not only that, there is room for a sequel and various topics prove it. Whether Sakurai will WORK on a sequel or not is a different story, but that really depends on the success of the next few games from Sora Ltd.

The trophies are a kick in the nuts. They're not really interesting this time around. I mean, the only fun the I've had with trophies is setting up snapshots (something that could have been in Melee) and reading up on the crazy amount of Kirby and DK trophies they magically added. But to drop down the amount of Yoshi trophies severely from the last game? To cut back on "retro" trophies? To give Wario, which is now a major franchise, a measly FOUR trophies? That's just... ridiculous. And then there are things like 3 Ice Climbers trophies when we HAVE the Polar Bear and Fish in the damn game completely unaccounted for. Why? WHY?
Oh, and something a friend pointed out the other night: the Melee stages are USELESS. They only appear in VS mode. Not in Classic, All-Star, Subspace, or anything. They pop up in some character ending videos but they are basically there to play just in VS mode. And guess what? Nobody touches them. Because they have their own page and the Brawl/Custom stages are faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar and away more interesting, the Melee stages are just a waste of space on my disc, my friend's disc, and basically the game copies of anybody else I've played with. There was no point in including them. Occasionally we go to Temple, and that's... it. That is it. Just throw in the goddamn Temple with the Brawl stages and make us some freakin' new ones.
We fanboys really are hard to please >:/

Did I mention how much I love all those Advance Wars trophies? You know, all those beautifully rendered models of Tanks, Commanding Officers finally put into 3D models so I could gleefully imagine them in a 3D game? Like the Sturm trophy... so awesome.
I still think the Hotel Dusk trophy is the funniest one of all. The Lakitu trophy being 2D made sense... that's how it is in Brawl. But slapping up a picture of Kyle Hyde as a trophy? Hilarious.

There are some reasons for the Melee stages, they serve to fill some holes in the stage selection ,like give Yoshi, Kirby, Earthbound, Starfox and F-zero a second stage, or to have some more scrolling stages (since brawl has few of those) They aslo help to give Kirby a better stage to represent the Series (because Halberd is more a Metaknight stage than a Kirby stage),and to have a stage based in DKC (because the new stages cover JB and the classic DK) and to give Earthbound a stage that represents the first two games. The only stages I dont see a reason to been brougth back its Brinstar since its practically the same concept as Norfair (and a little bit Pokemon stadium I).

That's how I felt at first, but the longer my friends and I play Brawl, the more and more we go back to the Melee stages. The novelty of the Brawl stages has worn off and now we just play on our favorite stages. Temple, Corneria, Green Greens, and Onett happen to rank up there (not to mention I built Peach's Castle from Melee). I, for one, am very glad the Melee stages are there.

And... of course... that Takamaru trophy just blew me away! I still think the Hotel Dusk trophy is the funniest one of all. The Lakitu trophy being 2D made sense... that's how it is in Brawl. But slapping up a picture of Kyle Hyde as a trophy? Hilarious. When I saw Kyle Hyde was a trophy I was looking forward to seeing him rendered in 3D. When I saw it was a 2D picture? Let's just say my faith in trophy mode sunk considerably this time around.

I'm pretty pissed that the Mario series had six stages (Mushroomy Kingdom, Luigi's Mansion, Delfino Plaza, Mario Circuit, Mario Bros., and Rainbow Cruise). Granted, it's Nintendo's biggest franchise, but doesn't Zelda rank up pretty high? It got three stages, and one's a remake.

Seven if you include Yoshi's Island from Melee as it's based on Super Mario World which is not at all a Yoshi game.
