The developer walkthru looked pretty cool, but being a beat-em-up, I'm concerned about how button-mashey it might be. The bad guys looked like they were just standing around waiting to be beat up.

That's all well and good, but the real question is:
Will Plastic Man be playable?

They better be... ;D Gorillas on flying beetles- man, this game has style. Inbetween this, Arkham Asylum 2 and Shattered Dimensions, comic fans are in for a treat this year.

Don't know if anyone here played Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure, but the creator of the game is now working on an all new DS title named Monster Tale. "In Monster Tale, Ellie fights her way through the Monster World in order to free its denizens from the control of the "Kid Kings." Acquired items can be sent to the bottom screen, home of a monster named Chomp. The items Chomp eats or plays with in the bottom screen boost his abilities, or even transform him into one of around 30 forms when summoned to the top screen to protect Ellie." Chomp can also use support weapons (like catapults) to attack from the bottom screen. Here's another preview of the game. That's all well and good, but the real question is: Will Plastic Man be playable?Probably should point this out but Plastic Man is on the cover of the box (as well as Hawkman, BB and obviously Batman and I think Robin who are all playable).

Monster Tale looks neat. Henry Hatsworth was a darn good platformer that cleverly used the bottom screen so more fun platformers like that are welcome. ...Sure it was a little repetitive sometimes and the long distances between checkpoints were frustrating but STILL it was good fun.

According to GoNintendo, Interplay is apparently bringing MDK 2 to WiiWare (as well as PS360 PC). I've actually played the PC version of MDK 2, and it was pretty fun, but really hard!!! There was also a Dreamcast version, which is interesting, because that make this an instance of a Dreamcast game appearing on WiiWare! If you've never heard of MDK 2, it's a third-person action game (with some puzzle sections) that has an odd sense of humor, and was originally developed by BioWare. Here is its MobyGames page and Wikipedia page. And gameplay footage: In unrelated news, here is a good article from GamesRadar on why SSX needs to make a comeback. Be sure to check out the gameplay video. I like that the caption under it reads, "If you don't need more of that in your life, you are already emotionally dead." EDIT: Seems I was wrong about the PS360 version. It's coming to PC.

I remember back at primary school, the class computer has single level of the original MDK (Which we nicknamed "Mission: Deliver Kindness").
It was pretty fun using the sniper rifle, to shoot those robot enemies right between the legs, we even discovered some minor glitches through our classes entire playthrough over the year. (like discovering how to get an extra granede, in one section was the most significant one, that was easy to do).

First Descent, and now MDK2? Not bad, Interplay, not bad. And if this opens up the Dreamcast doors, many other titles could happen!

Hot damn! Years and years ago, my great grandmother- God bless her soul- bought me the PS2 port of MDK2 Armageddon. The game now doesn't work very well, but I'm still a huge fan of the game. This is amazing news.
