Hm, I did not know they were ports. Fascinating.
But I agree - the Saturn does not get a whole lot of love from Sega, and it needs to. I missed out on the era, and unlike the Playstation side of things, I've yet to see any Saturn stuff floating around where I live.

Wanna point out a slightly obscure DS title that has gotten great reviews/praise and hasn't been mentioned here is 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors, is getting really pricy to pick up online and is hard to find in stores, so if you see a copy and a wondering about it, it might be a good idea to buy it. The game consists of escape the room puzzles/visual novel with multiple endings. Dtoid gave it a perfect 10 out 10.

I keep hearing about that game. Pete Dorr of All Gen Gamers keeps raving about it. I don't know if it's my type of game, but it's sounds like it has "cult classic" written all over it.

I'd like to pick it up, but I'll need to find it first. Kinu Nishimura (formerly of Capcom) did the character designs, and it sounds like it's a little similar to Hotel Dusk/Prof. Layton, so I'm very intrigued.

^ That is surprising, and perhaps a little late in the DS life-cycle with the 3DS just around the corner. But I suppose it'd be a good 11th-hour DS pick-up... That is, if anyone in North America even knew or cared about who The Great Giana Sisters were.

Isn't that game a SMB ripoff? I wonder why it's being released (surely they'd get sued or something?).

^ It is, and they did, but that was back when it was originally released on the Commodore 64. Nintendo doesn't care anymore because, let's face it, the Sisters Giana are no threat to the Brothers Mario. Actually, we have a thread for this game here.

Make what you want of this image, which is supposedly teasing an upcoming NIS announcement.

It'll probably be something lame like Cave Story costume DLC for that second Prinny game. Here's hoping it isn't!

www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=421281According to NeoGAF Activision has decided to can the Guitar Hero franchise (and the upcoming True Crime Hong Kong but that was probably never going to come to the Wii anyway) Activision has officially killed Guitar Hero.Any GH games in development for 2011 have been cancelled and the GH businees unit has been disbanded. Activision will now focus on Call of Duty ( until it kills that franchise as well) and Starcraft and World of Warcraft. I thought that there would be a day when Guitar Hero would finally cease to exist but I thought it would have been at least a few more years from now. GH5 (or whatever number there up to) didn't sell well and Harmonix (Rock Band devs) didn't do very well with RB3 sales (even though it's a good reviews) and were sold off from Viacom. In Summary :The plastic instrument music genre appears to be finally dying.

According to Andriasang, a remake of Super Dodge Ball is coming to WiiWare, and... *drum roll* ... River City Ransom 2 is coming this summer to some vaguely specified "home console". Both games are developed by Miracle Kidz.
