PS2 version is by far the best.

So what could other Ubisoft characters in this game possibly look like . . . ? It appears the Ubisoft 25th anniversary logo may be a hint. Jade, Elzo, Sam Fisher, Ghost Recon guy, PoP, Gunslinger from Red Steel 2, Just Dance Girl? Catz/Dogz?

YAY Jade. I'd be all over a Beyond Good & Evil stage in Rayman Legends.

Does anyone here remember Tomba? One of the best underrated PS1 games ever is coming soon to PSN thanks to MonkeyPaw Games. www.joystiq.com/2012/05/23/tomba-comes-to-playstation-network-as-a-psone-classic-this-summ/Haven't heard of MPG until now so I went to their site to understand what they do, sound neat, but I also recently heard about this failed awful Kickstarter project they made so I have my doubts about them. Still, its good to see a classic gem like Tomba coming to PSN.

WHAT
Dude, Tomba! and Tomba! 2 were undeniably huge parts of my childhood. When I found out Whoopee Camp disbanded I thought it was beyond hope. This is really exciting, especially since the only disk I can find is a Demo version of the second one!

I'd be jizzing on my keyboard right now if I didn't already hack my PSP for the sole reason of playing Tomba 1 and 2.
Anybody with a sense of videogame awesomeness NEEDS to play Tomba. It's Metoid style exploring at its most...unique and peculiar.

Fuck yeah, Tomba. I remember going to Toys 'R Us as soon as it opened one weekend to get it when it came out. Great, great game with a shit ton of personality.
Strange it came from one of the folks behind the original Resident Evil, ain't it?

Atlus is bringing Code of Princess to North America, no word yet on a PAL release. www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/06/atlus_will_bring_code_of_princess_to_north_americaBeen looking forward to this game, its one of the reasons for me to get a 3DS. It is developed by members of the same team who made Guardian Heroes and the character designer (also creator of the game's plot and characters) is former Capcom artist Kinu Nishimura who was one of my favorite artists in the company.

I must say however that the "info" regarding SFXT, SF4 and UMvC3 actually sounds believable.

I have to admit I was skeptical at first as well, but as you said the SFxT, SF4 and UMvC3 info does sound really plausible, which is why I'm believing it. I won't get my hopes up too high though.

Tomba has now been released on the US Playstation store for $9.99.
If there's anyone out there who hasn't already played it, I say go for it. It's a wonderful game.

Maan, everyone here is going head over heels on Tomba. Is it THAT good? I'd like to know if it's one of those "underrated gems" of PS1's videogame library.

Well, if it's obscure and a good deal of people are saying it's great, then yeah. I'd say that's a good sign it's an obscure gem.

It's sort of like a Metroidvania, which should be good enough reason to play it. Out of the MANY obscure PS1 gems, Tomba is probably the best
