"This game however is no game of 'questionable content', no sir!" LOL ;D
BTW, you surely noticed that Captain Rainbow got a B rating from CERO? That's the Japanese equivalent to ESRB's T and PEGI's 12+ ratings. Brawl (and Melee as well) got an A rating in Japan, meaning that they are for everyone (but ESRB rated them T). From what I've seen from the Captain, it's not nearly as "violent" as Brawl, but it got a B rating nonetheless. So why isn't Captain Rainbow a game for kids under 12 years? Maybe because of "questionable content"? Would it get an M rating from ESRB? Oh my, western release, please come...

Devil and Infantry squad?! This sure is getting interesting. What about a Pokémon, Fire Emblem or Earthbound character? If you look at the scan that Da Robot put, you can see a bit of a retro picture over Devil's head. Oddly enough, the retro picture seems to be the Devil and the Ice Climbers sprites. They're not even from the same game!

I'm pretty sure those are his cyclop minions.
Also Devil reminds me of Quasimodo.

So it is... It looked like Nana's sprite to me this morning, but I didn't look at it to long. And I can't look at it now.(school) That and I haven't played Devil's World.

Oh my, western release, please come... Seriously though, I'd be surprised if this even got a European release. Yes, Nintendo releases slightly weirder games here than in the US sometimes, but seeing as nearly all the games featured seem to be Japan-only releases, it's looking less and less likely even Europe will get it. I'm praying for it - Oh God Yes! But I'm not holding out too much hope - at least not for the next year.

Infanty guys would be a bit weird for a US launch. AW is seen as not only a newer franchise, but also a popular one. Like all Japanese developed games, it's developed more with the Japanese in mind then the world (ironic as a lot of those games sell better in the western world).

I'm not sure if Wars soldiers appearing is cool or just really depressing. Depressing, specialy by the fact that they chose the soldiers and not any of the CO´s

Well, not just that...
But that Advance Wars is considered a series that 'never caught on' to the extent that they're slumming it with Little Mac and Takamaru, despite having a dozen or so games.

This is not about games that didn't made it, but characters. Having Birdo and Tracy doesn't mean that Mario and Zelda aren't popular, but rather that nobody cares about these two characters. And nobody cares about the infantry units (obviously, all the attention is on the COs).

I guess you could count the Famicom Wars guys, but it's a bit of a stretch. Little Mac and Birdo are certainly pretty well-known outside of Japan, anyway!
