For some reason, the Japanese Wikipedia tells on two pages that CR has been T-rated by ESRB (both in the game's article and in the list of T-rated games). What's going on? Either they know what we don't or it was done by some joker who want's to make us insane here. This was discussed before. It's a better chance we'll see it here (in the US).

The Mimin Island map has been updated: www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/r7cj/guide.htmlIt shows a new character, Drake Redcrest (Gitchoman in Japan) from Chibi-Robo. And some new objects, including a treasure chest, a cliff, a golf course and a Warp Pipe complete with SMB sound. Another new part opened: www.nintendo.co.jp/wii/r7cj/chara.htmlIt is some kind of personality test. Which obscure Nintendo character are you? Of course, you have to understand Japanese.

Heh, I knew I was Mappo before even seeing the test. This may be off topic, but has anyone else noticed this? I clicked it but it didn't work. edit: It works now. Pretty cool feature.

So those 12 are the only characters? I was expecting some more, but it's fine anyways.

Er, sorry, but I don't really understand what you mean with that. What was discussed before? So those 12 are the only characters? I was expecting some more, but it's fine anyways. Of those characters, less than half of them are Japan-only ones (Mappo, Hikari, Lip, Takamaru). NoA and NoE, please release the game in the west!

Really like how each character is basically from their own series and acting it, I'll repeat that. Mappo's actually very cool, and so is Drake Redcrest.
So I do hope this game gets localized. Or else I'll have to buy a freeloader. But hey, with a shortage of games right now it's possible Ninty could take a chance. Though no sign of Stafy is clear they don't like doing that anymore.

Watch www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm4444121 for the intro and some gameplay. I stole it and uploaded it to YouTube for people who don't want to get a nicovideo account (you should get one though). I'll link when it finishes processing.

Of those characters, less than half of them are Japan-only ones (Mappo, Hikari, Lip, Takamaru). NoA and NoE, please release the game in the west! Yeah, it's easy enough to turn the F on the Famicom Wars Soldiers canteens into an A and call them the Advance Wars Soldiers. And heck, both Takamaru and Hikari actually look like they came from Japan due to Nazo no Murasamejou's and Shin Onigashima's settings. And even then, Takamaru, Hikari, and Lip had cameos in the Smash series as Trophies or Stickers, so people should recognize them from that. Only Mappo would be completely unknown. And even then, it should be relatively easy enough to toss up Nazo no Murasamejou, Panel De Pon, and even Famicom Wars as import games for the Virtual Console. Heck, they did that for Smash with Sin & Punishment, and people love Saki Amamiya now. Might as well throw up Devil World while we are at it. I really think this game would sell pretty decently in Europe and the US.

Thank you for that Jaken! Was that Iron Man he was losing popularity to? Wow, looks like a point and click. My favourite genre. With obscure Nintendo characters in it. I am praying for a PAL release!!

Man, I'm going to camp out in front of the courier office on Saturday in the vain hope that my copy gets there before they close. Stupid greek courier won't deliver on Sundays. And I'm still on antibiotics... >_>

Nintendo has officially gone insane. Or at least Skip..
No, Ninty is made for letting them have that in the game. I don't think there's any way Captain Rainbow, in its full version, is coming overseas now.

You're assuming Nintendo would release it here with a completely faithful translation without dumbing it down with a localization to make it kid friendly.
