Now to wait for some website to upload the entire thing so I can actually see the Mario Galaxy 2 trailer.
Guess I'll be watching Sony's conference too while I'm at it.

We have:
- New Super Mario Bros Wii - Wii Fit Plus - Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story - Golden Sun DS - Brief mention of Zelda Spirit Trackers - Mario vs Donkey Kong 2-based game as DSiWare - Wii Sports Resort - Super Mario Galaxy 2 - Bunch of 3rd party stuff that's already announced before - Metroid: Other M

Wii Vitality Sensor. Don't forget that. The HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE THING.

That was amazing, I'm watching the Metroid trailer again. I would have posted here but I think this stupid IGN player was a few minuted behind you guys for some odd reason. And I didn't want to spoil my self by coming here. I gasped at the GS:DS announcement, that was something I never saw coming and SMG2 looks awesome! Wii Vitality Sensor. Don't forget that. The HIGHLIGHT OF THE ENTIRE THING. Now once every hardcore gamer has one, Nintendo can actually tell how much hype a new game has just by using it.

Heh-heh. Looking over the last several pages, it looks like you guys had a real rollercoaster ride of emotions watching the conference. You went from joy, to utter scorn, to total euphoria, all in just over an hour! Even I didn't get that emotional watching it...until Metroid popped up.

Oh man, Metroid. That trailer had me wondering what it was. At first I was thinking it was a new franchise or some old series dredged up from the ancient past.
As soon as Adam said "Any objections Lady?" my jaw dropped.

And the games that were missed . . .
- S&P 2? It's playable but shouldn't we be getting some more info? - All those October conference games from last year . . . Are they really not getting released outside of Japan? - Trace Memory 2 . . . Ohhhh dear, not everyone is going to be happy with that not getting mentioned.
And just as I expected, no StarFox or F-Zero.
Well, this E3 destroyed 2008's.

I got home, and the first thing I saw was Golden Sun DS. So I was fairly sure this year was already better than last year. But Super Mario Galaxy 2? Metroid: Other M? New Super Mario Bros. Wii? Dayum woman! This year has been good.
Can't believe it took Iwata 10 minutes of build-up about games we can all enjoy to announce a heart monitor though. It would have been better if they'd had a load available in the audience and monitored the heartrates when Galaxy 2 was announced. That might have actually been quite interesting.
