Here's some more new info. DSi features you would have not known about. 1. The volume slider is now a rocker switch, like the GBA Micro, and has been moved to the left side. 2. Two Brain Age titles will debut with the online shop — a “literature edition” and a “science edition.” 3. Unlike previous models, the DSi will feature WPA/WPA2 support. It will also have “improved security features” for WEP. 4. “Moving Notebook” software allows you to scrawl out memos and create small animations. You can even use the mic to record some audio for the clip. 5. The DSi uses a unique AC adapter incompatible with the DS Lite’s adapter or other portables adapters. 6. DSi Sound, the system’s music playing feature, has different visualizers (e.g. Excitebike, chicks hatching from eggs) to accompany your songs. 7. The DSi has five brightness settings compared to the DS Lite’s four brightness settings. 8. While the DS Lite takes 3 hours to charge its battery, the DSi takes only 2.5 hours. Unfortunately, the DSi also has a shorter battery life by an hour. There is still no confirmation if the DSi is region locked or not.Release for Disaster:DoC and Fatal Frame IV in NAD:DoC is depending on sales in Europe for it to be released in NA (I know Korre already posted this but this is really important). FFIV release in NA answer from Reggie. - “you’re going to have to contact the publisher for questions on that.” Also I from what I'm heard tommorow will be the WiiWare part of the Nintendo Press Conference, hopefully they show the rest of the Art Style games and the WiiWare version of Cave Story!

Some new WiiWare annoucements! - Tetris Party will be 1200 Wii Points. - World of Goo will hit (NA) WiiWare on October 13th/next Monday (with a price between 1000 and 1500 Wii Points, remember its not coming to WiiWare in Europe but retail with some more levels and features). EDIT: Here's a trailer (Director's Cut) for the game. - New WiiWare game "Boingz" showed off. Grab antennas to fling the boingz around the level. Puzzle platformer. Each level has multiple boingz that you need to use in order to solve puzzles. Game is entirely physics based, with puzzles having multiple solutions.

Y'know, with Fawful being the villain in the new M&L game, it makes me wonder.
I realize that Fawful is popular due to his dialogue, but I'm curious if that is the same case in Japan. Does he have equally hilarious dialogue in the Japanese version or what?
I know he's popular in Japan but is it for the same reason over here? Or is it another?

Wait, where was Fawful confirmed as being the villain? I know some enemies resembling him have been shown, but other than that?
Also, a few pages back, someone mentioned the Chancellor, presumably from SMRPG. What'd they mean?

He's not confirmed as the main villain. People think so because of what the enemies in the screenshot look like. Also, a few pages back, someone mentioned the Chancellor, presumably from SMRPG. What'd they mean? I think they're referring to that one screen of the inflated mushroom person with the green spots and black mustache. The Chancellor from SMRPG looked that way, but I don't think the dude in the screen is him. The Chancellor has a white robe. I not a fan of games that are quite challenging. Admit it Parrot. You only like "Blond Guy" because he's not Little Mac. Like I said, there' s a reason some things are more appreciated than others.

Fawful is also seen flying in the background during the video.
Well anyway, I'd still like an answer to my question. What is Fawful like in Japan?

He probably speaks with a funny dialect from a specifc region in Japan. Naturally those those things don't translate well to other languages, but this particular writing team is relatively creative.
Mind you, I'm just guessing here.

I find the concept "Play for Wii" to be a very hollow gesture to try and appease the core market on Nintendo's behalf. Having decided that motion control isn't really All That And A Bag Of Chips™ after the past two years of playing Wii games, it's like Nintendo's suddenly become inbred and begun to caterwaul at it's sister-and-wife-and-daughter.
"HAY, MAW! LET'S GIT SUMMA THEM WIGGLES AN' WAGGLES FER TH' FOLK TAHRED'A FAMBLY GAMES."
You know?
...okay maybe that's too ludicrous. My point is, the Wii is already backwards compatible with all GameCube games and motion controls have proven itself to not be as reliably fun as, say, the Touch Screen on a DS. Realistically, I can only see Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2 working out with this new layout and that's assuming Nintendo does it like Metroid Prime 3 was set up and doesn't just bung the whole thing.
Why should we settle for something this lazy and think it's the bee's knees? I've played the first two Pikmin and Metroid Prime games, and if I damn well wanted, I could play them more without incurring any additional cost to myself. Why is Nintendo pissing away resources and time on this wank, and when are we getting new installments to these series instead of piss-easy rehashes? Seriously.

Look at the two games that, to my knowledge, have been announced:
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat: Playable with the Bongos. Those aren't that common now. So, this release is great for people who want to play it as authenticly as possible without having to buy the Bongos.
Pikmin: With Pikmin 3 on the horizon, it's wise to re-release the original for people who didn't get a chance to play it. I'm pretty sure they just took the Wii controls for Pikmin 3 and put them here. It's gonna be a good chance to get familiar with the controls.

I'm definitely getting the confirmed Chibi-Robo port. I'm also hoping for a 16:9 Wind Waker.

Why is Nintendo pissing away resources and time on this wank, and when are we getting new installments to these series instead of piss-easy rehashes? Seriously. Because most people who own a Wii... Didn't own a GameCube. 29.62 million have bought a Wii and 21.74 owned a GameCube, and many of those GameCube owners ignored the Wii because it is catering to a userbase that makes them money. Plus Nintendo has gotten access to this new market for them known as Europe. Nintendo never really had a foothold in Europe until the DS and the Wii. Do you know how expensive getting a GameCube copy of any of the Play on Wii titles? About the only ones vastly cheaper than $30 are Metroid Prime, Jungle Beat, and Chibi-Robo! Hell, Pikmin 2 and Mario Power Tennis for the Wii will likely be CHEAPER than their GC versions. Pikmin 1 is only $5 cheaper and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is only $10 cheap. Even I'm hoping that this line comes here so that I can get Pikmin 2 and Mario Power Tennis cheaply, and maybe add online to those games. There are GameCube games that I would rebuy if they released them with Wii controls and online play.

Yoshi's Island and Blinx left so much to be desired. Apart from Supan Smash they are doing Cry On in colaboration with Mistwalker.
