Yet Brawl alone wouldn't spoil what you just gave away. Not by a long shot. Playing Brawl would just make you think Lucas was fighting a boss from Ness's game, otherwise you might be inclined to think Ridley is a boss in Pokemon Yellow.

Yeah but some people are whiney and complain about anything like when they happen to stumble on a screenshot of the game before playing it etc. And yeah it's not really a spoiler when you haven't played Earthbound before, 'cause the character means nothing to you then. But I'm sure the people who did play Earthbound made the connection between the Pokey statue in the background of the arena based on a Mother 3 game and the huge statue chasing Lucas in SSE with a different looking Pokey jumping out in a spiderbedmech. Conclusion --> Pokey returns in Mother 3 as a geezer = omg spoilers. |

But they have to look reeeeeeaaaaaal closely to see that it's an old man and just think it's a modified heavily armed pokey or just someone named Porky who looks like Pokey.

I reckon the assumption was is that us filthy English speaking pig-dogs would never play Mother 3, so we had to be explained just who the wizzle Lucas is.  (The funny thing is I actually didn't get censored... NinDB is conditioning me!) |

Brawl spoils alot of stuff with Lucas' trophy as well, such as: Lucas' mother dies, he fights his brother, etc. That's why some people refrained from playing Brawl.

It's a good thing Fry allows Mother 3 spoilers on this board then, otherwise I'd be banned by now  Also if there's anybody around here who somehow still didn't know about all this, kudos to you for avoiding any spoilers for all these years. UNTILL NOW BWAHAHAHA |
