Shit man, this looks SO much like a cross between Stunt Race FX and Nuts & Bolts it's scaring me.
Fry's right though. Why didn't they just bill this as a revival of Stunt Race FX? Is it that obscure?

So we get two Excite franchise games, but still no F-Zero or Star Fox? Nintendo's reviving franchises, which is nice, but they're not reviving the right ones all the time, it would seem. F-Zero's in desperate need for a new good game on the DS or (if we must) Wii, and Star Fox could be amazing with motion control dogfighting. I will wait to hear reviews and see what people think... as this looks a bit ridiculous. As for Stunt Race FX, Nintendo seems to be blending games together nowadays. Mario Kart is half Kart, half ExciteBike. This is half ExciteTruck, half Stunt Race FX.

Underwear actually posted a new thread? That's...something different. I loved Stunt Race FX. That definitely should have made a comeback as of late. With more vehicles to boot.

F-Zero's in desperate need for a new good game on the DS or (if we must) Wii, Well, that would imply that there has been a good handheld F-Zero...and there has been no such thing. ;D F-Zero just wasn't meant to translate from consoles to handhelds, so I'd prefer if the concept was abandoned altogether in favor of actual quality titles. The GBA F-Zeros felt almost as pseudo-shovelwarey as every Mario Party game after the first one did. (And yes, I liked the first one the best, palm-blisters be damned. I was the best at those games.) Is it just me or do those screenshots look very last-gen? Sure, it's shiny, but the polygons are all rough.

Its funny you should mention that... DK King of Swing seems like half Clu Clu Land, half Donkey Kong Country. Anyway, the screenshots look interesting. But a video would be nice.

This game does look like shovelware. But I have faith that as a sequel to EXCIIIIIIITE, Monster games know enough about what they are doing to make it decent. ....but why exactly are some of you saying this is like Nuts & Bolts? Am I missing something? clown faces.

Clown faces in racing games... it reminds me of that clown with that flaming hair from some racing game. Vigilante 8 or something?

Why do people keep throwing that term "shovelware" around? Don't you know what it means to be shovelware?

Seriously, man. How the hell do you get Twisted Metal confused with Vigilante 8? Gather more video game info! Venture forth into the Internet, far outside the boundaries of NinDB! Show some initiative!

I find it really amusing how some of you people here criticize someone like parrothead for being a "know-it-all" when you're doing just that like all the time.

Uh.... the only one who's ever done that is me, and I haven't even said anything of the sort since over a year ago.

I like the concept of doing crazy stuff while racing. As long as it makes me laugh and has much more variety than these weird weapons, it will be good enough to me.
