I clicked on this expecting to see a game about the Yoshi's Island Stork.
I am sad now.

I clicked on this expecting to see a game about the Yoshi's Island Stork. I am sad now. I apologize. I'm sorry. The typo means my brain has the word "stork" placed above "stock" in my dictionary-o-unconsiousness. And my brain is numb. Sleep time.

Seriously, not every idea works. If they're selling, they ' work'.

Strange how whenever Nintendo's console is #1, they jump at the chance to make stock market software available for it. I have a bunch of info on the network adapter for the Famicom, and associated stock market software...

That I'm not surprised. I'm surprised about the part where they asked Nintendo themselves to make the game. Seriously, not every idea works. If they're selling, they ' work'. They "work" only when the sales can cover the cost. If the project brings a loss, then they shouldn't start the whole thing. I assume Nintendo doesn't have some stupid cost accountants. And as such, you're proably right after all.

Nintendo is going to develop a stork market game for Nintendo DS. Not that I'm against the idea as long as Nintendo continues to make actual games, isn't this thing a bit overboard? First general IQ games, then training on specific skills (language, cooking, etc), database of novels, travel guides... and now a stock market quiz game. Seriously, not every idea works. You have heard about the Ace Attorney series, a series where you play as a lawyer, right? So, how is a game about the stock market "overboard"?

Anwsering questions on that topic is not. It's a quiz game. Not a trading simulation game, from what I've seen.

Capcom did make a stock market game in the Ace Attorney vein, actually. For the DS, if I recall. I don't remember what it was called, though.
