So I heard a rumour that the Japanese version of Flipnote Studio had a lot more features than ours, and that Nintendo will be rolling out updates every now and then. Can anyone confirm this? Cuz I'm sick of having to use just one colour + black and white.
And if you could, what features would you add to Flipnote?

Japan did get a "version 2.0" of FS about 4 months after it got released. It should be coming to the west, just have to wait. Source.And if you could, what features would you add to Flipnote?  I want it on the original DS . . . |

Err... Nope! They have black + white + 1 colour as well. Perhaps that rumour was started by someone who didn't realise you can change to "Advanced Settings".
I would simply add a more varied colour pallet. It's surprisingly advanced for a freebie, and that's really its only let-down.
Edit Didn't we get some of the updates in V2 in our basic package?
