Maybe just a coincidence?

Hm... The tail of Torneros synchs up with the bag of wind Fujin has. The spiked tail Voltros has synchs up with the drums Raijin has- depictions of Raijin's drums are really weird looking. Closest thing I can find to Landros is Inari Okami, who is often shown with a bag of rice.

Maybe just a coincidence? The head spike is a coincidence. It's actually supposed to be a beak in the real counterpart.

There's too many things to go off about here, so I'll just post a few more of my favorites: Dream World abilities are amazing. They fixed a LOT of old Pokemon (see Blaziken with Speed Boost, for one). New attacks seem fun as hell. There's a move called "Simple Beam" that makes your foe's ability Simple; there's "Butterfly Dance" that will actually make all those early game bugs totally useful; Special moves that deal Physical damage; and, finally, a way to heal allies! Sweeeet Cutscenes are insane. The soundtrack in general is INSANE. It sounds like Final Fantasy, which is exactly the epic direction Pokemon NEEDED to go at this point in its lifespan. Bravo! Golem Pokemon is easily my favorite, far and away. Its stats are meh, but just... look at the thing. It's even named "Golgo." That's fuckin awesome! Kamen Rider having a Pokemon rep is just too frikkin sweet too. Hell... most of these designs are really really awesome. You can tell these were fans of the original generation who were now old enough to work for Game Freak making these creatures. There's a lot of love and attention paid to each one (even the garbage bag) The cameos! I won't spoil much, but if you know the big cameo from Gen IV already that's a Summer/Spring exclusive--there's another one for Fall/Winter. Rumors say it has to do with Gen I and both rumored characters have theme tracks in the game. Can't wait

From the unnamed abilities I mentioned days ago: - Ditto's unique ability is called Eccentric, and it transforms Ditto immediately when entering battle, without spending one turn using Transform. It's not spectacular, but it makes Ditto better than before. You could for example sent in Ditto when facing a Pokémon that has a type-absorbing ability (Flash Fire, etc.) and be granted a boost.
- Zangoose's does let it become poisoned, but when poisoned, Zangoose will get its Attack raised.
- Justice Heart, the new ability of Lucario, Gallade and the legendary musketeers, raises Attack when hit by a Dark-type move
- Lugia's and Dragonite's shared ability turned out to be very useful: they lower the damage done by any attack if their HP is full.
Another curious one is on Gligar and Gliscor, scorpion Pokémon that usually don't have anything poisonous to them other than the move Poison Sting or Poison Jab. They now have the abilities Immunity and Poison Heal respectively, which makes them pseudo-Poison in some way.

Though am I the only one who thinks Pokemon music has actually been going downhill since Leaf Green/Fire Red? Sure I got a massive nerdboner for chiptune music, but even Ruby/Sapphire's music was generally fast and intense. Especially the remakes sound like they've been peformed by a merry marching band. Also what does Butterfly Dance do exactly? Just wondering if there's ever a chance of Beedrill being used seriously.

Butterfly Dance raises Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed... However, it's only available to moth- and butterfly-like bugs.
There are other moves that raise three stats at the same time, such as one named "Coil", which raises Attack, Defense and Accuracy. Gear Change, one of the moves of the final gear Pokémon, raises Attack one stage, and Speed 2 stages.

There are like, two songs I like in Final Fantasy. The rest tends to just be overdramatic tuneless orchestra nonsense. I hope that's not what you mean.

Although they had been posted days ago in other forums and sites, Serebii.net has compiled a list of items right here. Some of the holdable ones are very funny. - "Evolution Stone" could make your favorite pre-evolved Pokémon a bit better.
- There's yet another family of type-favoring items that increase the power of moves of specific types: Fire Jewel, Electric Jewel, etc.
- The cassettes that are required to change the type of one of Genosect's signature's moves, Techno Buster, can make its type Water, Fire, Ice and Electric.
- Pumice Stone reduces the weight of Pokémon
- Red Card may take your opponent out of the field (it's based on the red cards used in soccer).
PokéBeach has now published the translated entries of Pokémon Black this time, right here. - With Victini, it's the first time I heard a legendary's entry to mention the possibility of the Pokémon being owned by a Trainer.
- Daikenki's, just like in White Version, states it has a sword in the armor.
- Minezumi and Meerhog seem to be able to store berries in their "cheek pouches".
- Muurando's is a reference to rescue dogs in cold territories
- Yet again Tabunne's make it "Hearing" rather than "Healing".
- Rohpushin invented concrete.
- Erufuun "slips through cracks". This is actually what its and its preevolution's ability does: it bypasses the effects of Reflect and Light Screen.
- Deathmas's mask is its face from when it was a human!
- Yabukuron's is nasty.
- Kibago's fangs are replaceable, while its evolved form Onondo's aren't.
- Freezio's body can vanish if temperature rise, and turn back to ice in the opposite case.
- Gorog can fly. By the way, it can also use Fly!
- Wargle has the strength to grab a car and fly with it.
- Vulchai's entry states it can't fly, though it can indeed use Fly.
- The three musketeers are said to defend Pokémon from humans... Not sure what does this have to do with the plot in the games.
- Genosect used to be a hunter in the paleozoic era
Something funny I find out is that Monose and Jihead are basically blind. This is probably why they have the Hustle ability.

You must've never player 7, 8, or 9. Those are the only ones I have played. Outside of the Chocobo theme and a couple of battle songs, the music was extremely bleh in my opinion.

Yeah... I'm just not into it. I'm not sure what it is, it just always feels to me like the notes were arranged at random.
