SPOILER ALERT!
There is an awesome Game & Watch cameo in Last Window: The Secret of Cape West (DS).
First, you can see an advertisement on the TV in Kyle's room that shows an LCD game titled "Pinkie Rabbit Land." While Game & Watch is never mentioned, the unit clearly resembles a Game & Watch.
But that's not all. When you get a bottle cap that tells you that you've won from the vending machine in the lobby, you can even get the game! Just show the bottle cap either Mrs. Patrice or Sidney. They'll give you the game, and you can play it by choosing it in the inventory.
In the game, you control Pinkie Rabbit who has to climb ropes in order to get the carrots that hang from flying balloons at the top of the screen. Then he has to take the carrot back to the bottom. Again and again, in typical Game & Watch fashion. But on the ropes Pinkie Rabbit has to avoid the things the ninjas throw who appear at the left and right side of the screen. The game is over when Pinkie is hit three times. Besides baseballs and shuriken, the ninjas throw hammers and pliers, a clear reference to Helmet. The ropes remind me of Donkey Kong II, while the balloons could be a reference to Balloon Fight.
Remember, Last Window takes place in 1980, the year Game & Watch was introduced.
EDIT: I just noticed, when you show the game to Tony, he confirms that Pinkie Rabbit Land was created in Japan (well, at least in the German translation).
EDIT 2: In the sealed file of the novel's fifth chapter, it is mentioned that Kyle won a "handheld gaming device from Japan released in 1980." Apparently, it refers to a another handheld game rather than Pinke Rabbit Land, which Kyle got later according to the text. It is also stated that Kyle used the game (whatever game is meant) for a long while as a watch.
