The lastest episode of Gametrailers Pop Fiction series talks about the NES game in AC, and how to access (most of) them using the built in trade code generator. www.gametrailers.com/video/episode-18-pop-fiction/724991Here's the code generator website. www.homeautomationforum.com/ac/Sadly, you can't get Ice Climber, Mario Bros (with out e-Reader) or SMB, Zelda 1 (without action replay).
I just used it to get Punch-Out, Baseball, Excitebike, Donkey Kong 3, Clu Clu Land and Soccer, so I can confirm that it does indeed work. (Punch-Out is pretty awesome by the way, DK3/Excitebike are nice, CCL will probably take some getting used to control wise, and S/B were crap). Also if you are going to do it, you can only get 3 "items" from Nook a day, so if you want all of them quickly, your going to have to set the clock. Here's the full list of games avalible for you to save money from spending on the virtual console get. Clu Clu Land Balloon Fight Donkey Kong DK Jr MATH Pinball Tennis Golf Punchout Baseball Clu Clu Land D Donkey Kong 3 Donkey Kong Jr Soccer Excitebike Wario's Woods

Thanks! I used it to get Donkey Kong Jr. Math, Donkey Kong 3 and Clu Clu Land D. I'll use it to get Pinball, Soccer, Baseball, Golf and Tennis later (the rest I already own in some capacity).
