Does anybody have footage of the other Koopalings in action?
I'm very curious how they can use the ejector seat attack while maintaining the same hitbox across all characters.

Dr. Mario's final smash is the same as Mario's but he shoots pills. That's lame. That means it's possible for the Koopalings to turn into Shadow Mario. Which means Sakurai's "It would be weird to see Dr. Mario shooting fireballs" remark from way back is kinda bullshit.  |

Does Falco still have the Landmaster as his Final? Yes he does. Also, ALL LEAKED MUSIC FROM 3DS. It Doesn't Matter has a new cover and it's jazzy as hell! EDIT: Not all are from the game. Some are fan made from the channel. That means it's possible for the Koopalings to turn into Shadow Mario. Which means Sakurai's "It would be weird to see Dr. Mario shooting fireballs" remark from way back is kinda bullshit. Yes, all the Koopalings turn into Shadow Mario. And most of what Sakurai says is BS. He also never thought Animal Crossing Villager could ever be made a fighter. |

Much more than being angry at the removal of certain characters... I'm still peeved that the game is nearly released in Japan and that we know nearly everything about it while the West still has to wait 3 more weeks... Several of these characters are really awesome. My bro who doesn't read gaming news will be happy to discover the alternate costumes for Bowser Jr. and the Duck Hunt character too.
What are these rumors about the 3DS - Wii U link enabling DLC? I mean it's something anyone could make up but they're mentioning specifically Mewtwo and Ridley in them. I guess that'd reflect what are the most-wanted missing characters if fake.

There's a European journalist on GAF who has been saying that his contact at NoE told him that Dixie, Ridley, Mewtwo, and Chorus Men are in the game. Connecting the 3DS game to the Wii U will unlock them or something like that. Admittedly there have been no trophies of them so far, but it's easy to make shit up on the internet.

That It Doesn't Matter remix is from the new Sonic Adventure 1 & 2 vocal album. Hopefully it's in Smash Bros., 'cause it's pretty awesome. The Angel Island remix in Brawl was from a Sonic album that came out around the same time too. No I'm not! When Mario has 10 fucking characters, having only 3 is hardly furthering the imbalance. I'm not arguing that the Mario series isn't imbalanced. It totally is. But yeah, if you're counting Yoshi as a character for the Mario series, I'd count Wario, DK and Diddy as being Mario characters too. They all get their own games and appear in Mario's games about as regularly as Yoshi does. I wouldn't be upset if Dixie or K. Rool were in, I just don't see why they're needed. Neither of them are particularly significant even within the DK series any more. K. Rool hasn't appeared in a main game since DK64 and Dixie just reappeared for one game after being absent since DKC3. Cranky or Rambi would be better IMO, but if we're giving more characters to series that're already there I'd rather see Wario or F-Zero get a second than DK get a third. And Wolf... much as I love Star Fox, and Wolf is one of my favourite characters in it... People were upset with Brawl because they didn't feel Star Fox deserved three characters. And that was at a time when they were actually making Star Fox games fairly regularly. There hasn't been a single new Star Fox game since then. |

There does appear to be a Wii U menu from what streams have seen... We've known about that for a month or two. As far as we know at this time, all that does is transfer customized characters between both versions. |

Hey guys what's going on h-... oh. Uh. Probably should've made a different thread for this, sorry! Yeah, altough they went all out with the different fighting types, a fourth magic Mii user would seal the deal. Guess I'll have my Gandalf mii equip an armgun instead. I was totally banking on that one leak, despite the Chrome nonsense Even if we didn't get a RH fighter, I was hoping for a wacky RH stage. Hey, maybe the WiiU version'll have one! 9/10 more weeks until we find out! Wolf grew on me pretty fast. His A-moves are completely different, the only cloney things he had were similar B-moves and that dumb FS. It's also probably the reason Dark Pit and Doc got in over him and Lucas, as their models have the exact same animations as Mario/Pit. Dark Pit personally jives me the wrong way because he's another one of those eeeeviiiillll versions of a main character. Though a seperate character, it's Pink Gold Peach levels of bad. From what I've seen all of Bowser Jr's model swaps are about the same size. Roy was atleast and yeah it looked kinda jarring when standing next to Mario. |

Hey, I'd love to see Cranky. I just thought Dixie or K. Rool would be the best choice for a third DK rep. If Cranky were the third, I'd celebrate it just the same.
And DK is a bigger deal than either Wario or DK, so it'd make sense that he'd get a third rep first. To use your own argument against you, there hasn't been a new F-ZERO game for 9 years. It's a hell of a lot less relevant than DK.

Yeah, I can see that. He doesn't bother me as much as PGP or Baby Rosalina did, though. Dark Pit is at least a distinct character who already has fans and originates from somewhere. Pink Gold Peach is just something they pulled outta their asses from nowhere. Smash Bros gets clones when they don't have time left to make any more full characters. Mario Kart's characters aren't distinct enough from each other in the first place for there to be a need for that. |

The only reason I got involved in this is that you were being so pissy about people liking Shulk, who's one of the newcomers that're actually most interesting to me. Him, Mega Man, Pac-Man, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, Little Mac and Duck Hunt Dog are the kind of newcomers I wanted to see. Everyone else is just kinda dull to me. Oh, and the Mii Fighters. That doesn't mean Xenoblade deserves a character more than DK deserves a third one! The entire Donkey Kong brand has been around for 33 fucking years, Xenoblade's only been around for four. DK is also in Nintendo's top 5 or 6 most successful brands. Where the hell does Xenoblade stand on that front? Or does simply being new or "obscure" automatically make it more deserving regardless of how big, long-running, important or successful another brand is? Is that the logic on which you're operating? Cuz it sure as hell seems like it.

Compare Game & Wario's sales and critiques to Tropical Freeze's. Hell, compare the original Donkey Kong as well as Donkey Kong Country's sheer impact on game history to Wario Land or WarioWare's. It's not just me, it's in general. Donkey Kong is a bigger, more successful, and overall more important "franchise" than Wario. Period end.
