I'll probably buy this game. I've been separated from Pokémon for a while.

My copy of Ruby broke down mysteriously, and there aren't any official Nintendo-item repair-lines where I live. Not having a copy of Ruby or Sapphire and the whole Shadow Pokémon storyline turned me off and I never bought Pokémon Colosseum.

I hope when I get back to Pokémon there won't be so many changes to the art of training Pokémon as there were in the leap from GSC to RS, so I won't be totally lost like I was when I started Ruby. I really don't see how taking a Rayquaza to a beauty contest will do it any good.

Pokemon Colosseum wasn't bad, I just missed the aimless wandering of the other games.

It could have been so much better (and have made the Bad guys much more sinister) if they had tainted all of the pokemon, even those in the wild. Then you could have caught the shadow pokemon and gone throught the whole purification dealie.

I haven't played a Pokemon on a console that I really liked (though I haven't played Colosseum, so there you are). Pokemon just seems to work best on portable systems.
