EDIT: Putting my newest ideas into first post, I think it's pretty convenient idea...
Sparkling' Parodius
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(WiiWare, PSN, XBLA)
Sparkling' Parodius, is a crossover shoot-em up/cute em up, featuring Parodius, Twinkle Star Sprites and Air Zonk. It combines the TSS's competitive shooter gameplay with Air Zonk's item system and of course the most important, Parodius's Weird Japanese Humor-theme.
Sparkling Parodius collects also the most characters from the three games: The characters' abilities correspond on those from the games they've appeared from.
The gameplay is took from Twinkle Star Sprites:
The two players' playfields are separated by a vertical bar, each one having its own independent of the other. Series of enemies arrive from the top of the screen. The player is to successfully destroy them in chains (combos), which will send one or more fireball projectiles to the screen of his adversary, to make them hit your opponent. You win after the heart meter of your opponents is deplenished.
The Reverse attacks and Boss attacks make return too.
The new additions to the game are:
-Items from Air Zonk and some new ones too.
(There are over ten of them, and each character has their own way to use them, like Kirby's animal friends in DL2 and DL3)
- Parodius's enemies and theme, including penguins, moais, giant women, more penguins, moai battleship, lots of references to worldwide popculture and games of the companies themselves like SNK's King Of Fighters.
If ya played Parodius, I'm sure you get it.
Twinbee's Bells appear also as an secondary items to use.
I'll try to update this idea with pics I'm gonna do, for sure.
Here's stuff I'll try to make:
-Character Roster
-Story
-Modes
-Items
-Stages
-Horizontal Shooting To Vertical Shooting
I don't usually do art, I mostly prefer writing, but since I didn't get too much ideas these days, I've expressed some ideas last months.
Mole Mania... 2?
Yeah, Fusing up Mole Mania and Gyromite's B-mode. Lawl.
Muddy has to run after sleepwalking Hector through Nintendo HQ.
I'm going to line art this and color it when I get my laptop back.
Hey-hey-heyguys, look what Icando-
HOWY! Electrode's making a suicide!
Somehow I started to like Electrode more than ever.
That's because everytime I see it come from Pokeball in SSB-games, I'm having an adrenaline rush moment in that timen, while my mind´is just shouting "Kaboom, KABOOM!! "
Then I try to throw my opponents in there, just to see they go flying. (-@w@-)
Nintendo Puzzle Party
I've sometimes made some "what-if"-game art's using sprites, and I'm amazed for that fact, it's sometimes very succesful!
What if Nintendo ever made a game that mixes all the previous puzzle titles (Dr.Mario, Tetris, Panel De Pon & Pokemon Puzzle League, Kirby Star Stacker, Yoshi's Cookie, Wario's Woods, etc) together, bringing some other Nintendo's classic characters instead of Smash Bros.
Just think Tetris DS and it's modes with Pokemon Puzzle League's tournament fun: add with Panel De Pon Original, Kirby Star Stacker, Dr Mario, and other fun puzzle games.
Mix that with the same retro fun from Tetris DS, but now... You can choose your character and the stage!!!
The game behaves much like ordinary puzzle: you can choose a puzzle skin and way to play your characters: Tetris, (Tetris gameplay, pretty basic), Panel (Panel De Pon & Puzzle League, default puzzle option), Fever (Doctor Mario), Star Stack (Kirby Star Stacker), Meteos, Pokemon Trozei and Puyo Pop. (Meaning some third party character fun from Compile... and Sega.)
Also I've thought that when making combo's or chains, characters can pull out special moves, similarly homaged to their games like the special moves and attacks from Smash Bros.
Stages can be choosen, too. There's a wide variety in there, like in Smash Bros. But only in Puzzle Party Mode. (It's the Multiplayer Mode. Up to 4 players.)
