5th post! . . . ? Is anyone going to repsond? A better question would be, are Nintendo going to announce any more noteworthy stuff and get the rest of the Wii U's games moving? I realize Q2's just beginning, but it's been too empty after these few months. Do they want this thing to succeed? I still can't tell. But we may get another solid Nintendo Direct any day now. There's still plenty of empty Sundays, Mondays, and Fridays to fill in April-June.

In Japan an accessory for the 3DS will be released that allows tokens from the Japanese Pokemon arcade game Pokemon Tretta Lab to be used for a 3DS version of the game. It doesn't look that big . . . Holy F****** ******* S*** ******! IT'S HUGE! Just when you thought the Circle Pad Pro was bad . . .

The recent Chibi Robo game has been rated by the Australian ratings board, so it looks like it's a very good confirmation of a western release.
Here's a video from Nintendo UK showing off all of Nintendo's upcoming exclusives . . . Anyone here interested in The Wonderful 101 still? It still looks awesome.

Showcasing NSMB, then an expansion for said game, in the first four games shown really doesn't help to make a good first impression on the diversity of the WiiU lineup.
'A BRAND NEW TITLE BY MONOLITH SOFT' really needs a fucking name, too.

That bewilders me too. Even Nintendo knows it's an expansion pack, but treating it like a different game (limited physical release aside) in this sort of thing doesn't do that many favors for the Wii U lineup as it is now.
It's a good thing that they're putting Pikmin 3 up front. It may not be able to get the system moving on its own, but it'll need later releases like 3D World and Tropical Freeze to back it up this year. Nonetheless, it's still getting what it deserves.
And why couldn't they put another unique title like Game & Wario on there? It doesn't look like that many people bought it, nor were they actually aware of its existence. Just one of those games that they don't really care if anyone buys it or not, even if it's an otherwise really good game. A game that uses the GamePad in far-out ways, and it already goes way under the radar. I wonder if Leon could shed some light on this...

For those in NA wanting a copy of Metroid Prime Triology or Xenoblade Chronicles apparantly Gamestop got an exclusive second printing of the game but is selling them as "pre-owned" I'm not a fan of GameStop by any means, but I think this is a little bit of a conspiracy theory. The claim is that GameStop is opening up new copies and selling them as pre-owned in order to jack up the price, but there's actually no reason to do that. There's no law in the US that requires retailers to sell at MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price), so GS could jack up the price on new copies just as easily as pre-owned. It's their prerogative. Furthermore, the market value of new copies is higher than pre-owned, so why would they deliberately open new stock just to mark it down? Not to mention that Nintendo does not collect royalties for sales of new games. This is a really common misconception. Retailers buy new stock at wholesale price, and that's the end of the transaction. No further money is paid to Nintendo. So, the claims don't make a whole lot of sense.

No it's not a conspiracy, Gamestop has commented about it and confirmed that's what they are doing.

No it's not a conspiracy, Gamestop has commented about it and confirmed that's what they are doing. Source? I'm not aware of GS making any such comment. A lot of people have been pointing to a company called Game Quest Direct that has apparently made a business of obtaining rights to re-print certain games entirely at their own expense. This isn't really new. Majesco was doing something like this with SNES and Genesis games in the late '90s. (They even manufactured the Genesis 3.) I have no idea if this is the case with Xenoblade, but the idea of GameStop opening new copies to sell as pre-owned makes no sense for the reasons I stated above. I mean, come on. There are still plenty of legitimate reasons to hate GameStop (like the fact that they're price gouging either way). No need to bend over backwards.

Alright, so you may have seen this creepy ass Pikachu mo-cap picture floating around the internet 2MB animated gif version hereSo apparently this is from a Pokemon detective game that's been in development for 2 years now. A game where you team up with Pikachu and solve cases and have to deal with an evil 'rare' (shiny?) Pikachu or something. I'm guessing the cases will range from exciting topics as 'who stole my rare candy?' and 'who made little Cleffa cry?'

The rare Pikachu is apparently blue. So, we have Pikablu after many years of waiting. Also, a Trozei sequel was also confirmed.

That reminds me, don't we have a mix between Pikachu and Marill? It looks to me that this (plus Dedenne's elec/fairy type and the 50-50 gender ratio) is intentional. Oh, and good to see a Trozei sequel. I liked the first.

Remember how Japan got Excitebots: Trick Racing as a Club Nintendo reward . . . . . . Well it's happening again except with . . . The unrelased Japanase translation of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin/Dark Conflict . . . . . . As a 3DS downloadable platinum status Club Nintendo reward. SourceAlso those out there that own Wii Fit/Balance Board should be able to get the downloadble trial version of Wii Fit U (and upgrade it to the full version by buying a Wii Fit U Activity Meter) In sliglty unrelated news, Wii Fit U was co-developed by Ganbarion, the company that made Pandora's Tower.
