I dunno the website makes it seem that whenever someone gets too close to DK's bongo solo they just freeze and take damage until DK's finished. Atleast that's what it seems seeing the last two pictures on the DOJO. Going all rhythm with it probably gives a crapload of extra damage.
I think it's more of a FS to use in 4 player FFA matches too, other players can try and throw fighters towards DK while he's jamming.
e: Didn't they call Battlefield Pit's stage before? Atleast that seemed plausible

DKU has a reason to hate DK's FS besides the JB reference: It's a terrible attack and looks like crap. You're like two months behind, DKU bashing is passé. Nobody's said anything bad about them in a while. DKU's loudest members denounce everything relating to Donkey Kong before and after the Rare era; this includes Donkey Konga, so of course they're going to hate it. A lot of us here find it silly, so sticking up for them (especially so out of the blue) isn't really doing you any good. Honestly, you keep bringing up old topics and say feeble, inflamatory things just because you can. Give it a rest. Aren't you a bit angry, don't lash at me. I think you actually have quite a bit of sense compared to some morons around the Nintendo communities. Not really any here firstoff... I think the people I talk to from DKU still dislike the idea because it could have been something different. When you look at DK's Final Smash, it's entirely dodgable unless you are held still, it has a very small range, it's going to be the worst move to pull on something like Rumble Falls and perhaps Eldin Bridge. In my opinion, the only Final Smash worse is Zero Suit Samus' as it could have easily been the false report that her Hunter Gunship drops off a suit and shoots at foes. I think when people will say "Why do you hate that FS so much?" I'll say "Because it has a bad reach and is clearly inferior to what could have been done with Barrel Blasting or even a Jungle Beat pound-them-silly technique." Seriously, I'm beyond the bongo thing as it's clearly a reference to DK64 and Konga (I liked them both). But it's just a terrible Smash. But I do see where you're coming from. EDIT: Flip, you should add that one of Samus' suits is a color pattern based on her Fusion Suit, clear in the Final Smash montage video on Youtube.

In the 57 to 1:20 in the video (and also in the norfair footage of the same video) that Flip posted is a box/crate with the flame mark on it appears to be a new explosive item in the game.

Yeah, that's a new crate.
Wait, what the heck is that at 9:06?

Oh, and if no one noticed, the shoes change too.

EDIT: Flip, you should add that one of Samus' suits is a color pattern based on her Fusion Suit, clear in the Final Smash montage video on Youtube. First, I wasn't mad at you nor was I "lashing out" at you. I was simply relaying the facts, which are "DKU's loudest members are silly" and "you bring up old points just to say bad things about them." Case in point: this topic here, where you could have said "I don't like DK's Smash" and not involved DKU in the first place, and your baseless Fawful bashing in the Super Paper Mario Cameo thread. Second, we have never seen a video of a person playing Smash Bros. execute DK's final smash properly. Given the fact that most of these vids come from gamers who haven't got much Smash experience, and that those who are familiar with the series are wrestling with a completely new game function, so for all we know it could be the most awesome or broken Final Smash ever--except that nobody knows how the hell to use it. And of course there are stages where it's not going to be practical--every Final Smash has that problem. Samus' Zero Laser and Fox's Landmaster won't be that good on Rumble Falls, while Link's won't be that good on some areas of Norfair or Castle Siege. It's more tactical than just using the attack, you have to pick and choose where and when you utilize it in order to get the most out of it.

Dammit IGN! They have now called the Battlefield stage a Zelda stage! AUGH!! What's wrong with them?! Some of their staff don't have a clue of what they're doing. Makes me jealous that they hire people who aren't as passionate about their subjects they write about as we are. Anyway, great updating, Flip, SChu and etc! The Deku Nut sounds interesting...nice to see that make it into Brawl. Zelda items offer themselves nicely to the SSB experience, and it's nice more are appearing.

I must have missed it. I assume it stuns the foe.

I must have missed it. I assume it stuns the foe. There is a strange video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyaiQCHbAfk) where Samus falls on a platform and the screen flashes. She is stunned temporarily and it really threw me off. I thought Deku Nut, and when I was skimming the threads of people who went to E For All they confirmed it. So apparently the item will explode on your character like a Bob-omb and send them flying, unless they step on it or it hits the ground near them. Then they will get dazed in the flash. Very cool, considering I wanted it since the first game to be an item. Also, Screw Attacks now stick to your character like Bunny Hoods and wear off on their own. No more tossing them at people, which was more fun than using them IMO.

Yeah, that's a new crate. Wait, what the heck is that at 9:06? That is the back of Samus in dark brown armour hitting the screen after getting KO by Sonic from the looks of it.
