Animal Crossing I believe we had most, if not all, of the cameos listed in this game, so unless you know for sure that any were missing, please don't list them again.
Super Smash Bros. Melee I have made a start on transferring the trophy guide (including Brawl), but obviously there were a lot more cameos in the game than that. However, we know them all, and this will be a massive, dedicated chunk of the website, so if you happen to notice any more, we have a whole Smash Bros. forum to refer to.
Donkey Konga / DDR with Mario These games contain cameo songs, and they were all listed. However, there are also a number of other cameos (especially in-series cameos) that didn't count back then, but will count now (such as the Donkey Konga loading screens).
WarioWare: Mega Party Games This is grouped with Mega Microgames, and there is only one cameo that wasn't in its forebear (the Mr. Game & Watch crowd).
Obviously, if you list a cameo that was on the old site, it will still be credited to the person who initially sent it in. However, if you can supply higher quality screenshots, then you will be credited for them (and I encourage such lovely behaviour, as my TV card isn't great).
I'm suddenly reminded of the stain glass windows in The Wind Waker that depicted the sages from OoT, but now that you're documenting mysteries and cool stuff, I think it should go there.
Here's what I remember. There was one cameo for Star Fox: Assault that I'm pretty sure was never mentioned on the site, though I'm not sure if it counts, I marked it in red.

Luigi’s Mansion -Game Boy Horror -Pikmin promotional video
If you count promotional videos, the GCN version of TLoZ:OoT/MQ had videos of:
- Metroid Prime - GCN games trailer - The Legend of Zelda: ALttP/FS.
Also maybe not a cameo, but slightly interesting and I thought I just bring up for the sake of it.
I know that this is going to sound bizzare . . . but does anyone remember this Spider Ball puzzle from Metroid Prime (in Phazon Mines area), where you had to rotate levels of a tower to access different Spider Ball tracks to go to different floors.
An interesting theory behind the design of the morph ball puzzle is that it's supposedly based off a Nintendo Ten Billion Barrel puzzle. (made by Gunpei Yokoi, who went on to create Metroid)
Here's a video (go to the 7:00 minute mark).

One of the planets in Galaxy was based off that puzzle- to the point where I'm pretty sure it was confirmed. So its not that big of a stretch, Robot. Except maybe for an American studio to know of it.
Hmm, I'm going to need a bit more convincing on this one.
Ten Billion was released relatively late for a Nintendo toy, after the launch of the Game & Watch series and Donkey Kong. The name supposedly comes from the number of possible combinations for the puzzle.
The likeness between Ten Billion and this puzzle is superficial at best. Without something more to go on, I'm going to leave this one up in the air.

This is the first time I've heard of this being suggested, let alone confirmed. I'm going to need a source for this.
Don't know if this count as cameo but it's a interesting recurring cameo of a game designers dog.
Japanese game developer Kenichi Nishi (Skip, Ltd., Love-de-Lic, and Route24 fame) dog Tao cameos in most of the games he creates including the following Nintendo GCN titles.
GiFTPiA Chibi Robo
And also on the Wii with Captain Rainbow.
(non-Nintendo games the dog appears in are Moon: Remix RPG Adventure, L.O.L.: Lack of Love).

Well, Tao died at 20 (old for a dog) with most of his life (and half of Nishi's) spent with Nishi. It's not that bad, I guess,
Comparatively, Sakurai should put more cat pics in his games =P
Two sleeping dragons — one a sacred ally of mankind, the other its sworn destroyer. Two heroes marked with symbols of the dragons. Their meeting heralds the dragons' awakening — and the world's ending.

Literally a cameo on the Gamecube.
"OK, this is basically the GameCube menu music sped up by about 25 times (i.e, in Audacity, I sped up by 400% (i.e. 5 times), then again by 400% (i.e. 5 x 5 = 25 times))."
Comparison stuffs:
EDIT: uh yeah I felt as if this wouldn't fit on the site; apparently it probably wont
^ This was just featured on GoNintendo (the citation chain ends right here). Too bad nobody commented right here. Or had it been already covered? Either way, it's an amazing find.
