I'm guessing that they'll just filter them out by IP. So...
SELECT * FROM SELECT *, ROW_NUMBER() OVER (PARTITION BY IPAddr ORDER BY DateCreated DESC) AS rownum FROM Votes WHERE rownum = 1
If you have access to a proxy server, you can probably abuse that. They probably know they can't count on the players to keep themselves from casting multiple votes, but they also probably aren't going to track every single vote.

I voted for both Dixie and K. Rool.
I'm not going to bother voting for Barbara the Bat even though I'd love to see her in the game. It's a fools mission. I'm like her only fan.

She looks kinda like Minnie Mouse in that comic.

I love those comics, they demonstrate why I love Barbara so much. Maybe if they touch up her design people might like her more. I heard a couple of people call her ugly (I don't see it).
Anyway, in the world of Nintendo where 90% of all girls are magical fairy princesses, its nice to have someone like Barbara. She's a greedy bitch with a sadistic sense of humor. She's also a punk rocker which is really cool too.

She is ugly, but that makes her unique. Unfortunately, there's not a lot you can do with her move set-wise without straight-up making stuff up.

I'll admit I voted for Barbara the Bat a few days ago, and suggested the idea of attacks using different musical instruments/equipment like guitars, drums, mikes, speakers, and possibly playing card attacks inspired by Master of Illusion. And also brought the idea that it could bring more attention to the Jam With The Band franchise if she got in.
Still wondering if I should vote again . . .
(I'm surprised that there isn't a form for voting in Assist Trophies)

I dunno how 3 games with next to no promotional material is a 'franchise', but I like the idea of using a bunch of musical instruments as weapons.

It's as much a franchise as Mother is, and at least Band Bros. isn't stuck in the realm of being "finished".

I started an appeal and petition for the character Starfy. Through this medium; we can educate other people about what makes him unique, spread his support and encourage a few people into voting. Contrary to some belief, he is not a 'weak' character with limited options for moves. His adventures throughout his five games support the idea that is far from the case. I stress that I only intend to encourage votes from the official ballot. I do not want people messaging Masahiro Sakurai on Twitter or anything like that.

Also Barbara has made a ton of cameos in various Nintendo games. @manspeed: Also, why do you think she's ugly? You give no explanation. I'll admit her Smash Bros. model looks a little off, but much of her artwork looks fine. Also I've seen some awesome fanart of her that makes her look good too.

Lemme break my responses down. First, for Leon: 1. Mother/Earthbound is at least fifty times more of a franchise than Band Bros., and you'd have to be in pretty heavy denial to think otherwise. Do heavy merchandise and a rabid legacy suddenly not count? 2. Why the quotes? Is Itoi's word suddenly meaningless? 3. What the hell does being finished have to do with anything? They could produce ten more Band Bros. games and it won't amount to jack if it never reaches the acclaim that Earthbound has. There's more to being considered a "franchise" than simply existing. For Koopaul: 1. Fan art isn't official art. 2. I guess I'm just not a fan of chicks who wear super heavy make-up. Or carry a really narcissistic attitude.

2. Why the quotes? Is Itoi's word suddenly meaningless? A, I guess you're making too much out of the quotation marks. I don't know why Leon used that, but it doesn't have to indicate that the quoted may be false in certain situations or perspective. B, Itoi said he's personally done with Mother. He remains open if people pitch the idea of another Mother to him, though.

Dude, just stop. You're not complaining about a franchise you don't like, you're denying reality because you don't like a franchise. Let's sum up everything wrong with what you've said. Mother/Earthbound is at least fifty times more of a franchise than Band Bros., and you'd have to be in pretty heavy denial to think otherwise. Do heavy merchandise and a rabid legacy suddenly not count? Daigasso DX sold more copies than franchise golden boy Earthbound, even accounting only for Japanese sales, which isn't even necessary since both are the ones which saw global release. Or do actual sales suddenly not count? What the hell does being finished have to do with anything? They could produce ten more Band Bros. games and it won't amount to jack if it never reaches the acclaim that Earthbound has. There's more to being considered a "franchise" than simply existing. That's literally all there is to being a media franchise: A media franchise is a collection of related media. Daigasso is a collection of three related games, which are the media, so yes, it's a media franchise. Know what else is a media franchise? Big Mutha Truckers. Absolute garbage. But it counts. I guess I'm just not a fan of chicks who wear super heavy make-up. Or carry a really narcissistic attitude. So basically the entire entertainment industry.

.....Where did I say I didn't like Band Bros.?
And how can I "deny reality" if I honestly didn't even know what the reality was?
I didn't know the first Band Bros. sold more than Earthbound, and I thought something wasn't considered a 'franchise' unless it had at least three entries and a bunch of tie-in media! You know, attempts at actual franchising? If Band Bros. really is a bigger 'franchise' than Earthbound, how come I've seen plenty of promotional material and merchandise such as manga and little knick-knacks pertaining to Earthbound but have never seen anything pertaining to Band Bros. besides its three games? If these things exist, I'd more be more than happy to see them.
And that the hell is wrong with my lady preferences? Am I suddenly not allowed to dislike the way a fictional character looks?
And most importantly, why are you getting so personally offended?
