srry about the sig
anyway I never did think about that. I know games like Final fantasy tactics advance is ouned by square, but I thought that if it was developed by nintendo(in most cases) they owned it This dose shed new light on the subject. But luckily only Issac may not be able to be in SSB(not sure yet)

Usually Nintendo does own the rights to games they develop. A couple of exceptions that spring to mind are Tetris (NES/GB) and Pac Man VS. (GC) - Nintendo developed both, but they don't own the rights to either of them.
Nintendo publishes loads of games every year that it doesn't own the rights to. The Final Fantasy games are a good example. In the last couple of years Nintendo has published three Final Fantasy games, and even worked with Square Enix to implement connectivity into Crystal Chronicles - but that doesn't mean Nintendo has any property ownership rights to the Final Fantasy series... only publishing rights.

"Is he friend or foe? It's hard to say, but Meta Knight knows more than he's saying..." Reminds me of Proto Man from Mega Man 3.

Yeah, I knew the Kirby/Pokemon/Fire Emblem dealie, but I thought those companies were pet companies of Nintendo. On that subject, what exactly is Camelot? (also, since HAL Laboratory made SSB, it would be awkward if they didn't include their own character. )

Intelligent Systems is a second party company with Nintendo, made up mainly of breakaway Nintendo employees.
Before Kirby and Pokémon, both HAL Laboratory and Game Freak were multiplatform developers. Nowadays they are Nintendo-exclusive developers, and are doing very well out of it. However, neither of them is a second party company, and either one of them could... if they so wished... break off and develop for Playstation or something.

Any chance you can direct us to any site with screenshots or information of that SSBM clone? Was it for the GameCube?

Yes. Yes I can! Enjoy the bizarre wonders of.... DREAM MIX TV: WORLD FIGHTERS Official Nintendo informationOfficial Hudson informationYou can also access the DREAM MIX TV WORLD FIGHTERS "special site" by clicking on the yellow button on the Hudson page. It does look pretty cool. Wish they'd bring it out over here. I want to kick Bomberman's tin-butt with Solid Snake and/or a Transformer.

My friend owns Dream Mix TV World Fighters, I want it just because it allows you to play as Higgins (Adventure Island), my favorite Hudson Soft character.

I was just thinking it might be cool to play as Paper Mario in the next SSB. They can include him instead of Dr. Mario, or they can include both. As long as they don't include Baby Mario

Yeah, Baby Mario would be so stupid in SSB It would be cool if another character from Paper Mario would be included, like an X-Naut or one of Mario's party members

Well, I already made a thread here titled Super Smash Bros. Retro.
In this Smash Bros. game, all of the characters first appeared before 1990.

Yeah that was a while back. But I dont think we need Papar Mario in SSB. We all ready have Mario and Dr. Mario I think thats enough. Also he's made out of paper, he'd be to light

I wonder if the only reason Dream Mix TV World Fighters seems to be the most bizarre thing I have ever seen is because I only recognize 3 characters...probably not.
