The RPG sequel to one of the best GBA games has been confirmed for the DS. From screenshots we can see that Mario and Luigi aren't alone on their adventures this time... The brothers have been left holding the babies, with Baby Mario and Baby Luigi appearing in several of the screens. In battles the babies are carried on the back, while in the game it seems the babies can operate on their own (even on a separate screen). It also looks like it will lead to many hilarious Luigi moments as he tries to keep the little terrors under control.  |

I absolutely loved the original, because it had great gameplay wrapped in a really cool, though really wacky, story.
Looks like this one's story is going to be wackier. I'm expecting some sort of time machine comes into play, but it'll probably be crazier than that.
Appearances by what appears to be Kamek and Baby Bowser make me believe this game ties in to the greatest game of all time. Very, very cool.
And I love the look of that giant, fat, evil pink Yoshi. So cool looking.

Yes... that giant Yoshi was weird. In fact... the entire game looks a bit weird. I'm intrigued and wish to play it right now!!
(maybe I should consider defeating Cackletta first)...

I'm going to put in my prediction now that Baby Bowser and Kamek will end up going up against Bowser and Kammy, and, without knowing it, each of ther plans are stuffed.... wiat, not wacky enough.

This game looks awesome. I wonder what the story in this game is. Is it going to invovle time travel? Or did Mario and Peach have a child(If they did, is Baby Luigi their kid, also? Or is it Luigi's and...Daisy's?)

NoA's site has the answer. Mario and Luigi go back in time to rescue Peach, but they come face to face with baby versions of themselves, Bowser and Peach as well.

Finally! A game (MKDD doesn't count as it's a sipnoff - the greatest Mario spinoff I'd say) featuring both grown-up Mario Bros and baby Mario Bros at the same time!

I wouldn't I'd call MKDD the greatest Mario spinoff ever, and I doubt many people would. Way too extreme, IMO, as its probably the weakest Mario Kart anyway (Thats not saying its bad - its just less good than the rest). Not that that makes a difference.
But the time travel plot sounds cool. I'm suspecting it'll be a bit like in OoT - meet a character in the Baby's time and then come into contact with them again in the present. I'm not sure if it'll have you hoping from one time to another, but who knows?

I really doubt the game will try to weave a clever time travel plotline... it will just be an excuse for loads of hilarious jokes. And they will be hilarious. Luigi is to videogames what Charlie Chaplin was to television |

I'm having trouble finding screenshots of this... All I got was a movie so horribly small it was difficult to see what was going on. Most of the sites I've been to for other E3 news don't even seem to have this listed.  |
