The Game Boy Micro should NOT be a GBA remake! I thought I heard it was, but shouldn't be like, "Game Boy Advance Micro"? It should be remade with new buttons and a new, 64-bit processor.

But that's not what it is.
It's just a smaller GBA. The DS does the 3D stuff for now.
We won't get a new GB that plays powerful 3D for a long time, if it eventually comes along.
GB Micro is just a very small GBA with a brighter screen. That's it.
I still think it's a cool idea, for it's intended purpose anyway...

Bzzzz. Incorrect. You lose.
Andronicus is right, its a tiny GBA - thats it. Nothing more, nothing less - just a tiny GBA.

I hope so. And notice that the buttons are changed: The style of the + pad has changed, and A and B buttons became small a and b. (XD)
I hope no 64-bit processor though, instead, it should be with a 128-bit one, which process better graphic than the Gamecube.

It's just a way for Nintendo to keep the GBA software library up in the air for a while longer, while also appealing to the iPod generation. It's DINKY!

Wouldn't it be cool if a new GB came out with a built in Gameboy camera? That'd be rad.

Hmmm... maybe. But if it was another GBA, they'd have to have a seperate camera I could use with my SP or DS.
We are long overdue for a new GB Camera. I want one!

Well, a new GB camera may not be working with me. I have a Palm-based (so surely it has a touch screen) phone that vibrates, takes photos, uses the microphone for other uses, plays some games and everything. But then, GB Cam must be having something special that makes even existing camera users want it.

But it's not made by Nintendo - maybe not even be officially approved!

I think the GBMicro is just another useless remake. No new features. Just a tinier GB. I don't even know if it being tinier is a good thing!

Yes, useless if you have a Game Boy Advance already... not useless if you don't.
The smaller size, smaller, sharper screen... I've tried to make this clear - this isn't an attempt to make Nintendo fans buy them (even though they will) but to make everyone else buy them. The SP was successful, but this has the potential to give the GBA one final kick before the next evolution in the GB series is shown.

I really doubt it... even if I haven't played game before I'd have chosen Nintendo DS, not this!

But the Micro will be about half the price of the DS I beleive (it'll definately be less, I know that). So if you hadn't played a game before but felt like trying one, you'd no doubt go for the cheaper one. Plus you can get old GBA games cheap(er).

GoombaJoe is right. It's a tiny screen, just further pushing my beliefs that the DS will be the true successor. One GB I would like to see is a brand-new DS revamp with a link port and backwards compatibility.
