I never got the handle either... I mean, how often do you carry around your GCN? I never move it from where it sits, cos it isn't a portable system...
Anyways...

It's useful if you get the screen with it.

I'd be more tempted to carry it in a bag, what with it being expensive and all that.
Besides, I've already lost one Gamecube to thieving scoundrels. I intend to keep this one under lock and key!

I was burgled twice: Once in January 2003 and again in March 2003 (on my pigging birthday, no less). The first theft left me without a Gamecube or PS2, but thanks to a little help from my parents I was able to replace it in time for the second burglary.
Thank the high heavens that the second lot of burglars didn't seem to have an interest in videogames at all. In fact they seemed to rummage about a bit, realise we were poor students with no money lying about, and left (after kicking the doors in and nicking a single mobile phone).
From then on I have kept my Gamecube well hidden from the glare of passers by. They can buy their own damn Gamecube with their own damn negative overdraft account, scoundrels!
They didn't take my GBA either time, so that got some attention for a while... it tends to get neglected at times.

Well, I was in a student house in a part of Norwich at the time. The landlord refused to put in double-glazing, and it wasn't until the second burglary that he even agreed to install a burglar alarm.
They got in (both times) by prising a locked window open with a garden fork or something.
Thankfully, though, the second burglary was the day before we were due to sign the contract to stay in the house for another year. Suffice to say that we didn't sign it and moved to a fully double-glazed house in a much nicer part of the city. The worst trouble we had there was some kids chucking snowballs at the house.
I've left university now (hence the job hunt... and hence why NinDB is sleeping) so I am keeping a close eye on my now-vast Nintendo collection.
