This isn't news, this isn't a rumour... this is just a few thoughts I've been having.
The Revolution is doing well. Business analysts are excited, Nintendo is getting great press, developers and publishers worldwide are gearing themselves up for (or even working on) games for it...
But I'm a gamer and Nintendo fan. I'm excited, sure I am. The Revolution announcement was a bit odd, but we knew there was more to come. The controller announcement was astounding, really boosting the image of the company and firing the imaginations. But that was months ago. It's around four more months until E3.
There is a distinct possibility that we will hear nothing new in the intervening months before the big unveiling. We know there is at least one more surprise up their sleeves, as well as the games, the final name... and so on. It's not that I'm losing interest... but my interest (and that of the consumer press) is being devoured by news of the X-Box 360 and PS3.
Nintendo needs to keep this ball in the air. If they have another weird innovation up their sleeves, I believe they should announce it within the next month.

Apparently they will be heavily showing at GDC in March this year, so odds on something will emerge then. Here's hoping!

Haha! Ironically, you misspelled the word "grammar" Nintyboy.

I understand that they don't want to show off any in game footage without it being playable, but surely a teaser trailer every once in a while wouldn't hurt, and would steer some hype back in Ninty's direction.
But we all know Nintendo are crazed loons.

I'd settle for a playable demo of Twilight Princess instead than a Rev trailer to be quite honest... although I'd change my mind if it was a trailer for SSB3.

I disagree. Firstly, I'm never gonna get to play those demos, and, secondly, but more importantly, Zelda's gonna be great. We know that. But its not touching any new ground - it will control just like OoT, MM an WW before it.
But the Rev.... Who knows what that crazy thing is gonna do? How is Mario gonna jump? How is Samus gonna roll around? How is Fox gonna 'do a barrel roll'? These are the things I wanna know.

Haha! Ironically, you misspelled the word "grammar" Nintyboy. Gaah! Hoist by my own petard! (is that how you spell petard?) I'm regretting the whole debacle now, I'm usually quite a mellow individual P.S. I'd prefer new Revolution newsly nuggets to new Zelda demos, unless they posted these demos to everybody. That would...er...is "ROXORR" the term?

New news to be discussed:
Activision announced that they have been developing a Rev game on the quiet, and it will be ready for release "in the console's first four months", maybe even a launch game. They own licences for Tony Hawks and Spiderman, so it could be one of those.
IGN say that Saturo Iwata will be making some big speeches at the GDC in March, so some details about release dates or prices might be revealed. Then again, maybe not.

More cool news [Japanese Industry Analysts made predictions on the Nintendo Revolution and the industry in general in the latest issue of Famitsu, one of the most well respected magazines in Japan.
Daiwa Institute of Research Senior Analyst Eiji Maeda predicted that the price of the Nintendo Revolution will be nore more than 30,000 yen which converts to about 257 USD while the Sony Playstation 3 will be priced at 40,000 yen which converts to about 343 USD.
IT Journalist Hiroshige Gotoh sees success for the Nintendo Revolution because it would provide innovation over its more powerful competitors, relating it to the DS and PSP situation.
Finally, Maeda predicted that the Revolution would release in June in Japan and would have a larger game line-up than the Playstation 3. Nintendo has earlier suggested that they are seeking a global launch. /i] www.nintendojo.com/infocus/(srool down a bit) June would be nice, but if thats the case SSBR wont be a launch title, but would be coming out the same year. Lets hope hes right.

while the Sony Playstation 3 will be priced at 40,000 yen which converts to about 343 USD. Chepaer than the X360?! No way! Unless Sony wanna lose about $500 - $1000 on each console, I can't see them doing that. So obviously I'm also sceptical about their Rev predictions.
