You know what I don't like about the Nintendo DS?? How it always shuts itself down after you exit a mode.
Anyway, what do you use to clean the touch screen with? Mine is getting kind of dirty.

Trying to copy my idea, huh?
Well... my reasons: (Again, I'm not anti-DS or whatsoever)
- I often accidentally pull out the DS card. HowI love the legacy GB's cartridge lock design! - 18-bit 262144 colours. Compare it with 24-bit 16777216 colours. Duh. - The lovely POWER button which geerates troubles many times. Both original and Lite. - Left-hander discriminating right-side stylus placeholder (just put it in the middle, piercing through the DS card (XD) ) - No built-in rumble - too bright in the dark; too dim under sunlight (I'm basically talking crazy here) - Prints money only for Nintedo, not us (remember the joke?)

Aye, I remember the joke.
I love everything about my DS Lite. I clean the touch screen with my t-shirt, gently. And I also keep my fingers away from it as much as possible.
And it only shuts down on certain menu options and when leaving Pictochat. Seriously? Do people play with the menus all day?

I don't like how it forces me to spend my omney on it by having a crapload of awesome games, and how by having so many awesome games I inevitably miss out on some of the other awesome games because I can't afford them.
So, you know, nothing worth complaining about.

Can't say I have anything against my DS/DS Lite (I no longer have the former). Now if this topic were about the PSP, I could rattle up a hefty list about what I don't like about the thing (all from personal experience, mind you), but I'm happy with my DS as it stands.
I never touch my screen with my fingers either (except for Super Princess Peach, where I was too lazy to use the stylus), but my screen does get linty and speckly from other things. Fry's tee-shirt-rub method works well on everything but the speckles.

Dude. Admit it, you had the stylus for Super Princess Peach... you just chose not to use it! TOUCHING IS GOOD!!!
Sometimes I get annoyed by DS games that decide to use inane features such as the touchscreen or mic for no reason. If the game benefits from it, great. If you want to add it as an alternative method to control, great. But don't make us switch from the stylus to having to go back to playing two-handed. That's just cruel and unusual.
I'm also still upset with the D-Pad and Super Mario 64 DS. I'll never forgive that game for horrific hand-cramping controls. Metroid Prime: Hunters was nearly, but not quite, as bad. The next handheld needs the analog stick.

Didn't YL do a topic aboout this already.
The only problem I have is I wish the Lite's battery liufe was a bit longer. Sucks being paranoid about your battery dieing on a long trip.

I had a lot of trouble with Super Princess Peach and Viewtiful Joe. Games shouldn't require you to use the stylus AND all the buttons at once.

Tei: I just pick up my stylus and touch. Better leave no fingerprints on it.
Masamune: I originally hoped for an analogue stick, but no longer now. Look at Wii - JUST MOVE THE ENTIRE THING FOR 3D CONTROL! Analog stick is not 3D.. it's just analog. Wii is what I truly call 3D! And I don't like the Mario 64 DS design as well.
'Chu: I want a longer battery life as well! And my previous topic is about the Wii. And I still think the Wii Channel should have a better alternative.
Kirbychu: You're right. A Touch Screen is a Touch Sreen, not an additional button pad. I play SPP with a stylus in hand, which is not so comfortable.
Whiskers: Being a DS player, I'm not familiar with holding an SP.

True that may be, but the DS still needs an analog stick. I don't think a motion sensitive stylus is viable yet.

I don't like the fact that I have to wait sooo long for all of its wonderous games to be released. In truth, I don't have any major problems with it. I love it. Even my little dead pixel, whom I call "pixey". He's red.

I never heard of people loving dead pixels! You're stranger than ever! True that may be, but the DS still needs an analog stick. I don't think a motion sensitive stylus is viable yet. Let's see the next handheld! =D

Dude. Admit it, you had the stylus for Super Princess Peach... you just chose not to use it! TOUCHING IS GOOD!!! I did touch the screen in SPP for instant gratification. It does feel good to touch Peach's pink, touch-sensitive lower area! Oh my, it's the Wii jokes all over again ;D
