Funky. Another good, and female, character to toss in the Mario spinoff games. Sadly, that's all I concern myself with these days >.<
But in all seriousness, two guesses: Peach with amnesia, or some sort of astral angel thing. I highly doubt they'd go to the lengths of introducing yet ANOTHER "I'm really nice, but no WAIT I'm evil!" female villain to the Marioverse
Then again, Sunshine rocked the boat a little with that whole Shadow Mario thing, and all those FMVs...

I just thought of something
notice that her dress is blue okay, stay with me. Now, as we all know Peach's dress is pink, and Daisy's is yellow. Do you follow? It is a small fact that could mean absolutely nothing.
What if they add other princesses as different colors...or something like that.
Though this would piss me (as well as others) off by adding so many princesses, it is a possibility. <-_->
