5-Super Smash Bros. -This game is amazing, pitting Nintendo all-stars against each other. I still remember the ad where Pikachu, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi were walking, then they started to fight. ;D Good memories, I stopped playing it after SSBM came out though. 4-Pokémon Snap -This game is just too unique to leave out. I know it wasn't very popular, but hell, I loved it. It was a great game and I beat it. (including very good picture of Mew) Very good game. 3-Mario Kart 64 -I have tons of memories with this game, I did multiplayer a lot on it. Including the only times I ever did four player.2-Diddy Kong Racing -Very good racing game, I remember Always playing against my dad in Icicle Pyramid... and beating him. Very good, I still play it today even. 1-Super Mario 64 -My all time favorite N64 game as well as one of my favorites ever. I still play it on the DS and am currently trying to get my 80th star. Good game, good game.

Pokémon Snap was an under-appreciated game. I picked it up, expecting it to be no more than an addition to my pile of Pokémon games, but I got addicted to collecting high-scores in it! It's such a fine-looking game as well.

I just picked up a copy of Diddy Kong Racing the other day, but I haven't really had much chance to play it properly yet. Can't say I like Banjo's voice much. And sometimes Diddy sounds just like he did in DK64, sometimes he just sounds... weird.

Banjo does sound weird, but you have to remember DKR was released BEFORE Banjo-Kazooie. Conker sounds even weirder.
In fact, playing Conker's Pocket Tales followed by Conker's Bad Fur Dar is probably one of the most surreal inter-series gaming experiences a person can have.

After playing it a little more, Banjo only really sounds weird when he says 'I'm Banjo'. The rest of the time he sounds pretty much the same as he did in Banjo-Kazooie, which is cool. I had a feeling DKR came before B-K, but Kazooie is mentioned in the manual, so I guess the game was in development. I never actually got to play any Conker game outside of Conker's Bad Fur day... I have a (very) old issue of NOM here which shows early screenshots from a Mario 64-style cutesy platformer starring Conker. Did that game ever make it out?

I always thought it was funny when Drumstick said "I'm Drumstick"
He was always my favorite next to Timber, I really wish those two would have had careers after DKR like Conker and Banjo did.

Banjo-Kazooie and Conker: Twelve Tales were both announced to be in development in May 1997, and DKR was only announced in October, ready for its surprise November release. BK was released in June 1998, and Conker: Twelve Tales was cancelled. I think Rare was sick of being branded the "cute developer" so that's why they went for the hilarious spin on the game in Bad Fur Day. In fact, some of the set-pieces from those early Twelve Tales shots are still in Bad Fur Day - like the windmill, the flowers, and so on. It's just they've been corrupted beyond compare

I hate how they cancel games, if you announce a game, GO THROUGH WITH IT. Whew, I'm glad I got that off my back.
Star Wars Episode I Racer was okay... it lived out my wishes to control the only scene of any Star Wars movie I ever liked. It really worked too, but it really could have used some music. I bought it for 1.99 complete from EB... but the box is kind of ruined because my local EB (at least) COVERS boxes with labels... I hate EB and how they unwrap factory sealed games ASAP and take the disk out. I was trying to buy a Playstation game which was scratched... and they claimed it was brand new.

Don't hate them too much... I work for EB's UK branch, "GAME", during the day.
It is such a shame to unwrap factory sealed games, but how else are you going to get a load of empty boxes out on the shelves? You can't... because cheapskate publishers don't send dummy sleaves out.
I always prefer my games to come factory sealed though. Thankfully, we usually keep enough of them to one side so we can get them. And the stickers come off easily if you take them off carefully (at least ours do). I make a habit of carefully removing stickers from anything I get from Ebay as well.

I love my local GAME, but I find it hard to choose between the two branches we have in close proximity in our town centre. There's a small one for if you're in a rush and need a game fast, or the large one for if you have time to browse and play demos.
