I too unlocked all he AX racers by beating story mode on Very hard (Level 7... took some effort).
Funny... I too use Octoman almost exclusively. A very hard game but truely awesome. I saw somebody say it was the worst Gamecube game ever.... I can't think of anything witty to say to that..... that's just..... I mean that's just so... so WRONG!!!!!! SO VERY VERY WRONG!!!! But he/she offered no explaination or reason so I'm going to just asume that it was a bad joke.

I thought that you could only unlock them from the arcade. Cool, I'll start racking up points now.

If you have completed every story chapter on very hard, and have bought every racer you should have them already. If I'm not mistaken, 1 (Magic Seagull, I think) is unlocked by completing every chapter on hard, while the rest are unlocked by completing the very hard chapters - 1 racer for each chapter completed.
I still can't beat the GP one on normal. I suck.

If you were talking to me, I haven't got it. I was refering to the Grand Prix (GP) story mode chapter. Ch. 5 or 6 I think.

I have F-Zero GP Legend... but like all F-Zero games I suck at it. If you like the original SNES or Maximum Velocity on GBA then you'll probably quite like this one as well.
And it has a story!

Sweet. I'll check it out then. I was upset at Maximum Velocity because it had none of the original players. But it was still a beautiful game.

I don't agree with the list above much. Out of those, Mario Sunshine is my least favorite, but it's still a solid platformer that beats out most. Zelda II is my least favorite I believe...just can't click with it. *shrugs*

I didn't click with Zelda 2 for a while, and then I did and it suddenly felt very good. Must be a lot stranger for those of us who played LttP or OoT first

To be honest, that hardly any Nintendo game which is "bad", atleest the mainstream ones. I really like Mirio is Missing, it's fun, and it's truly educational! , by the way, this topic shouldn't have been a poll.
